Being an artist in today's creative world, I draw art for other NFT projects to raise money to buy NFTs and be part of my favorite communities I heard about NFT’s 1 year ago when I started following Rey - the creator of the Creyzies collection, which is a derivative of Mfers and was airdropped to OG Mfer holders.
Rey’s works inspired me and I took my first steps into the NFT space. The first time I saw the Mfers collection was when one of my friends - Cryptojames bought his Mfer. He periodically talked with me about Mfers. Unfortunately at that time I could not buy a Mfer, however, that never stopped me from believing that I could one day purchase my very own Mfer. My desire to own a Mfer was growing, and I kept buying derivatives until I could buy a Mfer.
Time passed and I accidentally stumbled upon an article and it seemed to me that the author was shouting in my ear, saying: "mfers are the utility mfer." That was the moment one of the core concepts of Mfers became clear to me and I realized the Mfers have no ruler, no official discord or defined roadmap. The Mfer`s community members are free to build their own way without the approval of the Mfer`s creator Sartoshi. What I like about both collections is that they’re in the public domain “CCO” so their holders can use them in their projects or any way they choose.
CCO is a new step in creative cooperation, it’s freedom for everyone, cause you can do whatever you want, you can print these designs on clothing, use them in your social media, do derivative art projects, you can open a studio, you can make a movie, you can make a giga-brand based on Mfers, and finally you can use them to make memes. I think the ultimate goal is to increase the sense of belonging - so whatever you have in mind, it’s real with mfers!
About 1 month ago (Apr 21, 2022) when Rey launched a competition on Twitter for his “Creyzies” collection, I decided to take part and prepared a derivative work that I thought was a cool art mashup of Creyzies and Mfers. I didn’t expect it but I took second place. I got support from the community, even Rey, Sartoshi and Tiny Dinos retweeted my art. This motivated me a lot, and inspired me to make a collection including 6969 unique nft/s of my own building off of my entry. So, Mfers + Creyzies = “Crazy Mfers” was born! I knew I would need additional team members to help me, so James and I recruited some awesome people and started working on it day and night. We found programmers and people interested in the collection and, like us, are obsessed with Mfers! There are 150 crazy traits generated into a sick collection of 6969 NFTs. And now they are on the public domain, so you can use them how you want. CCO! We are going to share 10% of sales with Creyzies and 10% with the unofficial Mfers vault. We, as a first derivative collection of Creyzies and Mfers, will always support Mfer derivatives.
