The linkDOT team is delighted to announce the success of our private beta launch and we soon will be opening up a public beta. We thank our community and everyone who supported our project. We will be also launching “linkDOT 0x0” a community-building program where we will be onboarding some of the industry-leading community builders.

So before going further, let's talk about linkDOT.
linkDOT is all about communities and their contributions.

What you did, What you have and where you belong form the foundation of one's reputation. In the personal or professional environment, we use our social media profiles, Digital resumes or referrals to represent our reputation on the web. These are fundamentally a work record of unsubstantiated claims which is usually taken on the face of it. Reputation has been distorted on the web. A Linkedin profile or a Digital resume rewards recency and relevancy mechanics with an aim more towards discoverability than integrity.

Proof-of-contributions is such a web 3 primitive which is a transparent and verifiable record of one's work history and achievement. linkDOT is a Proof-of-Contribution Non-transferable Token Minting platform to recognise value creation for organisations and communities.

This allows us to do multiple things.

a) Manage a portfolio of contributions across multiple projects 
b) Associate the portfolio of contributions and achievements reputation with a pseudonymous web3 identity
c) Describe the individual contributions at a high level or redirect to on-chain proof or referenced third party
d) Have contribution verified by on-chain data by default, or by a referenced third party or a community
e) Can easily be queried by 3rd parties for authorisation mechanics or more critical applications like voting power/delegation, domain-expertise reputation for DAOs to enable new decision-making and contribution models, contributor reputation profiles

linkDOT reputation profile will be one of a kind profile where communities and individuals can showcase their Non-transferable tokens which will play a key role in the Web3 reputation and identity mechanics. We will be sharing more details on the Non-transferable token feature, utility and public beta in the coming weeks.
