On the testnet interface of Chee Finance, you can supply tokens, enable tokens as collateral, and borrow tokens. Additionally, on the testnet, you can also withdraw supplies and repay borrow.
This article will guide you on how to use Chee Finance on the testnet.
Getting started
1 -- Connect to Celo Alfajores Testnet
To tune into Celo Testnet: First, search for Celo Afajores Testnet on Chainlist.org and add it to your metamask. Then click on the network switch button at the top of the Metamask and select Celo Alfajores Testnet.
2 -- Get CELO on Celo Alfajores Testnet
The next step is to obtain the test CELO on the alfajores Test Network. The CELO test can be obtained from here - Celo Faucet. However, you need to enter the address for your Alfajores Testnet account to receive test CELO.
3 -- Get Celo Alfajores test tokens
Finally, you need to get Celo Alfajores test tokens. For that, go to Chee Finance testnet, and click the “Give Me Test BTC, ETH, cUSD, cEUR” button!
Congratulations, you are now ready to use Chee Finance testnet on Celo Alfajores!
4 -- Supply & withdraw tokens
This section guides you on how to supply and withdraw tokens on Chee Finance.
Step 1: Choose a market to supplyFirst of all, you need to go to the “Supply Market” tab and pick up your targeted token.
Step 2: Enter how much amount is to be supplied
Enter the amount you want to be supplied. You can supply tokens up to your wallet capacity.
Step 3: Supply the number of tokens you have chosen
Press the “Supply” button and then confirm the transaction on metamask.
Step 4: Check supply balance
You will see your supply balance in the top left-hand corner of the app.
Step 5: Withdraw tokens
You can withdraw your tokens from the market anytime by clicking the “Withdraw” button.
Notice: the withdraw option will be active when you disable the tokens as collateral.
5 -- Borrow & repay tokens
This section guides you on how to borrow tokens on Chee Finance.
Step 1: Choose an asset to enable as collateralFirst of all, you need to go to the “Supply Market” tab (top left) and enable your asset from a supplied market as collateral. After this, you have to confirm the transaction in Metamask.
Step 2: Choose a market to borrowGo to the “Borrow Market” tab and pick your target token.
Step 3: Enter how much amount to borrowEnter the amount you would like to borrow. Please note that you can borrow tokens up to your wallet capacity.
Step 4: Borrow the number of tokens you have chosenPress the “Supply” button and then confirm the transaction on metamask.
Step 5: Check the borrowed balanceYou can see your supply balance in the top left-hand corner of the app.
Step 6: Repay borrowed tokensYou can repay the tokens you borrowed at any time by simply clicking the “Repay Borrow” button.
