CAH’s Collection:Photographer Marcel Strelow’s Work——First Light

Recently, Concept Art House collected the First Light from photographer Marcel Strelow on the Foundation platform. We will introduce the collection and Foundation platform in detail below. Come along and enjoy this gem from CAH Open Sea vault!

First Light

Few places on Earth record the history of our planet as clearly as the Dolomites. It's hard to imagine that these rugged cliffs reveal that 250 million years ago they were actually coral reefs, formed in a primitive ocean called tethys.

Tectonic changes caused the earth's surface to push these layers together and lift them up over millions of years. They now offer a glimpse of prehistoric times, beautifully displayed on Mount Seseda.

Photographer Marcel Strelow captured this beautiful scene called "First Light". The First Light of the morning, through clouds and wind, through high peaks and valleys, pours over mountains and mountains. It is like a Light suddenly appearing in life, bringing positive power to people.

Photographer Marcel Strelow

Marcel Strelow is a photographer based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. His subjects are landscapes and natural phenomena. He is also a renowned landscape photographer and aspiring NFT artist from Germany.

"The combination of art and technology is much more than the sum of its parts -- it allows life's moments to be communicated in a new way." Growing up east of the Berlin Wall, he didn't take traveling and enjoying the beauty of the earth for granted. Stroh was 7 years old when all borders opened, which greatly increased his urge to explore the world.

Strelow is now known for his unique time-fusion style, which creatively pushes the limits of photography while remaining true to the moment he captures. His first international accolades were for his bioluminescence work, where he was one of the first to use modern digital camera technology to capture close-ups of fireflies in Waipe Cave in New Zealand.

Marcel Strelow's work has been published and cited in National Geographic, Lonely Planet and several newspapers, and he has received multiple awards including ND Award, International Landscape Photographer award, International Photography Award and more. He focuses on Europe, but also travels the world with work created in Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, Iceland, Japan, China and elsewhere.

Strelow was the first solo photographer to combine creative work with ERC721 coding. Leveraging NFT technology, he wrote a custom Ethereum smart contract when he launched his "TimeSync" series in 2021, allowing him to add a new dimension to photography.

Marcel Strelow also has many beautiful works. If you are interested, please click the link to see more:https://linktr.ee/marcelstrelow

Foundation NFT Trading Platform

Dedicated to a niche community of high quality creativity and art, the NFT exchange aims to provide a platform for artists to experiment with new ways of creating, to shine a spotlight on marginalized voices, and to be a platform to push the NFT field forward.

Foundation is a community-built digital collectibles platform that allows users to bid on, buy, sell and browse digital art on the Ethereum blockchain through simple applications. Compared with other platforms, Foundation is a niche community that focuses more on high-quality creativity and art, most of which are elaborately curated and professionally produced art NFT.

One of the most prominent features of Foundation is that it is the best place for emerging artists to create and sell their work, which has caused a wave in the artist community, with some even paying high prices for invitations. They think the platform can provide more opportunities for underappreciated artists.

In short, it's a great platform for "real artists".

  1. In a more pure digital art market, the strict invitation system also ensures the quality of foundation's creators and the purity of the artist community.
  2. Digital art works on foundation are more suitable for long-term collection. In the second resale, Foundation will also charge 10% of the platform fee, and the remaining 10% will belong to creators permanently, which is equivalent to royalties. This protects the rights and interests of creators and brings them greater and long-term benefits.

The boundaries of NFT art are still expanding. In the early days, AN NFT work might just be a picture, but now it has been integrated into audio, film, games and other fields. NFT gifts, NFT blind boxes and other forms have also begun to develop. Let's look forward to the future of NFT art!
