Performance :

Dramatically decrease: Total Visits, Parcel Sold Total, Parcel Sold Sum, Avg Price(USD), Mint Total

Rise slightly: Avg Price(ETH)

Stable: Parcel Owner Total

Cause Analysis :

The “Meta effect” at the end of October 2021 led to the Metaverse sector being hot in November and December 2021; in January 2022, the market became more rational, and multiple indicators (such as: Avg Price(USD), Parcel Sold Total, Parcel Sold Sum, and Total Visits) Significant decline; but indicators such as Parcel Sold Sum and Avg Price(USD) are still higher than in October 2021.

The price of ETH dropped sharply, causing the Avg Price(ETH) of CV Parcel with ETH as the main trading currency to rise instead of falling.

The purchasing power suppressed by high land prices before the decline in land prices was released, so while many indicators declined, the number of new parcel owners remained stable.

**1.2 Parcel Owner Total: **There were 133 new landlords in 2022–01, a slight drop from the previous month.

**1.4 Parcel Sold Sum In Primary/Secondary(USD): **Both the primary and secondary markets fell sharply.

**1.5 Parcel Sold Sum In Primary/Secondary(ETH): **Both the primary and secondary markets fell sharply.

**1.6 Average Price of Parcel In Primary/Secondary(USD): **The average price in the primary and secondary markets has dropped significantly.

**1.7 Average Price of Parcel In Primary/Secondary(ETH): **Both the primary and secondary markets rose slightly; this trend is opposite to the other monthly indicators mentioned above, and the reason is that the price of ETH has fallen very sharply in 2022–01.

**1.8 Total Visits: **A slight decrease from the previous month, but almost the same as November 2021.

All indicators dropped sharply

Cause Analysis :

The “Meta effect” at the end of October 2021 led to the Metaverse sector being hot in November and December 2021; in January 2022, the market became more rational, and multiple indicators (such as: Avg Price(USD), Parcel Sold Total, Parcel Sold Sum, and Total Visits) Significant decline; but indicators such as Parcel Sold Sum and Avg Price(USD) are still higher than in October 2021.

Unlike CV, the total of landowners in DCL has also dropped significantly, because the average land price in January 2022 is still at a high level after the decline (Land $17,000, Estate $12,000), much higher than CV’s average land price (primary market $9,000, secondary market $11,000)
