Web3 in Japan

In Japan, even those who work in the Internet business have a fairly low interest in web3.

The crypto industry was certainly buzzing around 2017 when IBM and others created services using Blockchain, but from then until recently, at least around me, I never saw it, like a mole that went underground.

I don't remember exactly how I became interested in web3, but I do know that Wagumi's activities had a big impact on me.

When I attended an online event hosted by Wagumi, an old colleague of mine (he's my age, and we're both “fossils” in the Internet industry) was there, and I had a conversation with him about Web3 after the event, which further accelerated FOMO.

Yes, We are afraid anyway.

Japan Today

It's not that he and I are the only ones taking it easy. In fact, I think we've been exposed to Web 3 information earlier than the people around us.

Only a very small number of young Japanese have dived into the Web3 and are competing with the rest of the world. And they have moved to the US.

When did Japan become such a boring country?

I wish I could go to San Francisco tomorrow and create a new world with them, but I have many reasons to say in Japan, so I decided to dive into the Web3 from Japan.

For a while, I would like to send out information about the real Web3 situation in Japan.
