How to deliver value effectively

During my last business trip to Bali, I was discussing the key points of a project's value with my friends when I suddenly realized that the value I perceived may not be easily captured by others, especially when it comes to Web3 projects! Therefore, I started to think about how to improve the chain of thought communication that has been bothering me, and how to effectively express and convey ideas!

Value transmission is a very important issue that determines the success or failure of a team or an individual. In modern business society, value transmission is not only a problem between two individuals but also involves a team and organization. Therefore, we need to explore the essence of value transmission and how to effectively conduct it.

Firstly, when transmitting any information, it is affected by three aspects: objective environment, the amount of subjective information transmitted, and the subjective awareness of the recipient. The objective environment refers to factors such as the scene, time, and place of information transmission, which will affect the transmission of information. The amount of subjective information transmitted refers to one's ability to convey information, including language expression, logical thinking, emotional intelligence, etc. The recipient's subjective awareness refers to factors such as the recipient's cognitive level, experience, values, etc.

Most of the daily or market consensus does not require the first aspect, i.e., objective environmental factors to convey information. However, other views are mostly influenced by the objective environment. For example, if you advocate for a wealthy person to donate to a poor organization, the probability of the wealthy person participating in the current donation activity will be much higher if the recipient has just seen the miserable situation of poor children. Therefore, in business activities, we should create an empathetic atmosphere and guide the decision-support system of the human non-rational part.

Secondly, when conveying core values, we should demonstrate both high professional qualities and the core values of the project itself. Professional qualities include personal qualities, personal abilities, personal status in the industry (time, industry knowledge, execution, personal brand), etc. The core value of the project is clearer, i.e., how the project generates value, its social significance, and wealth value. At the same time, we also need to know how the recipient participates, how to exit, and how to participate in value distribution.

Lastly, when it comes to the recipient's subjective awareness, only by understanding the recipient's values and knowledge can we diagnose the results from the exchanged information and optimize our conversation strategy. In communication, we may encounter a situation where the recipient does not understand your description of a cross-industry problem or a complex problem, but still makes decisions beyond their industry knowledge. Congratulations, you have met a powerful character who makes decisions beyond simple project business logic and uses higher-dimensional strategies to think about problems. These people look at the project's character, industry trends, and other people's decisions in the surrounding area.

In the process of value transmission, we should focus on improving personal qualities, including professional qualities, personal qualities, emotional intelligence, etc. At the same time, we also need to focus on team collaboration and communication, establish a good communication mechanism and collaborative atmosphere. When the value is transmitted, most of the major problems are solved...
