We’re excited to announce that iETH is now live on Ink—an Optimism Superchain. iETH is a native ETH LST built for the Ink ecosystem, enabling users to earn Ethereum staking rewards without leaving Ink.
Starting today, users can:
Mint iETH with ETH on Ink.
Mint iETH from Ethereum mainnet.
Coming soon:
Participate in incentivized iETH liquidity pools.
Use iETH across DeFi protocols on Ink.
…and more ✍️
iETH is designed to be the go-to ETH asset for the Ink ecosystem, offering best-in-class staking yields and a simple user experience. This vision aligns with our mission at Dinero to make ETH staking accessible and widely integrated.
We’re actively working to expand iETH’s reach through new partnerships. If you’re building on Ink and want to integrate iETH please reach out.
Users can mint iETH through the iETH UI available here. Select your origin chain (Ink or Ethereum), input the amount of ETH you’d like to deposit, and confirm.
Once staked, you’ll be holding a rebasing LST called iETH. This means that your iETH balance will increase in your wallet as you hold it. In order to use iETH throughout DeFi on Ink, you’ll first need to wrap it for wiETH using the Wrap
tab on the UI:
Once wrapped, you’ll stop receiving rebases to your wallet, and instead you’ll received your accrued rebases once you unwrap wiETH. All of your balances can be tracked using the Dashboard
page here:
To unstake, find the Unstake
tab on the UI and follow the process.
