Introduction about Andrea.
Although Andrea was born in 1981, the 41 years old’s philosophy is to be forever young to feed the inner child with games. He got into the Crypto world back in 2017 and bought some ETH for $80 - $100 without knowing much bitcoin technology. Later on, he traveled to Asia and lived in Bangkok, where he encountered the Deesse team at a crypto conference about a year ago. He quickly decided to invest his own money in the team. And because of the communication skills gained from working in TV and marketing companies in Italy, Andrea is now serving as CMO of Deesse
The story and inspiration behind the artwork
The Japanese cartoon prevailed in Europe during Andrea’s teenage era. He has been in love with Japanese manga since then. When he met the team, with designers from Japan, the idea of Japanese manga-style goddesses attracted both sides. And along with the in-game economy design, the artistic graphic designs are also what keep Deesse going in this bear market.
What makes you believe in Deesse during a bear market?
In Andrea’s opinion, the bear market is the best timing for a project to build around its community because those who stay are the ones that still trust and support it. The players at Deesse invested heavily with their time and money in the game, the team consisted of 35-40 come from Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Europe, and the U.S., and the tokens are listed in prestigious CEX like Kucoin, Huobi, and MEXC. The community does not need to worry about rug pull.
How Deesse ensures the value of the NFT assets?
The NFTs, or the goddesses with rarity ranging from N, R, SR, SSR, UR can be evolved in-game and minted once they reach the max level. Although some SSR NFTs are expected to be worth $500 but are sold at below $100 due to the market condition or whale dumping, the Deesse team has designed a lending and borrowing function to allow more gamers to join. Q1:
How did DeeSse come up with this sexual arousal, provoking art style?

Japanese manga has been really famous around the world for many years. When I was young, I always look around magazines and comics and it has always been this sexy stuff. The girls have cute faces and are smiling and showing a very generous body, but I think it's nice for a couple of reasons.
One of the first questions I had, when I jumped into this game, is why not men, why no male around? For example, my game name is Zeus, a male god. My interpretation and philosophy are, we can be men and we can be macho, we can be anything we want, but the feminine part is always with us. Is like YinYang. When I cook I feel my feminine side. When I do art, I am absolutely expressing my feminine part. So I really love to stay with all these goddesses around.
For sexuality, I think it is not a big scandal. Everywhere around the world, you can see people abusing their sexuality. And this is the Japanese culture that showed this beautiful manga, around the cartoon, the magazine, the comics. So I see this as a strong point of our project.

In the current gaming space, Web2 games like Resident Evil and TombRaiders are getting censored or interfered with by Political Correctness. How do you see your projects handling this trend?

Regarding Political Correction, I think I don't care because we are in a new age, where the people are in the center, and the power I feel will come back to the people. There are troubles around the world, Covid, Wars, and people are only money-oriented. In the current condition, we have to learn kindness. Don't be scared about the sexual part. For Political correction, I leave it to the people that would want to dry emotion and want to make people like robots. We don't care much.
Also, I want to mention a new philosophy about games - Love-to-Earn. What does Love-to-Earn mean? It is to make our Goddesses the protagonist of sketches of life. What do I mean by sketches of life? For example, there are several options in one scenario, Athena is walking along the River and Gaia goes to her and says “Oh, I have some fighting with my mom and she started to cry because I was really rude to her.” And Athena advises Gaya “She's your mother and is the most important person in your life. Please think deeply about what you did because we are warriors, we are fighters, and we are the Goddesses that have the mission to save this world. But we have to respect our mother because she's the most important person in our life.” This is the answer1. Answer 2 is that Athena can propose to Gaia “oh fuck off your mother. She's old, She's not part anymore of your life, she puts her nose in your life.” And there is answer number 3, “OK OK, you know this person is getting old but anyway, is your mother. Maybe it's better if you just go back and make something better.”
So what happens when the gamer goes into this special room and chooses the most lovely answer, he will get a reward with the biggest bag of tokens. If he makes the middle option, he will get fewer tokens. If he chooses the rude answer, he will get no token. This is the concept of love-to-earn integrated with GameFi.
