When my daughter heard about how people from all over the world were heading to Turkey to help the earthquake victims, her first words were:

“Let’s go!”

I had to explain how that wasn’t really possible and that we would need to find other ways to help.

“We could make them a card? That might help them feel better. And we could give some money so they can buy food!”
