We're excited to announce the launch of Chaosnet-2, KIRA’s new testnet - open for everyone to try.
Our frontend and wallet app, MIRO, is now live. This is a big step for KIRA towards making things easier for users. MIRO has a simple interface for interacting with KIRA. Everything happens locally if you connect to at least one INTERX node. You don't need external servers. We plan to add external wallet integration soon.
Our backend also got some big updates. The long-awaited VFG is now live. We've also updated INTERX, our middleware, and a second generation of KIRA Manager (KM2), which over time will take the role of RaaS orchestrator software.
This means Chaosnet now supports RollApps.
At KIRA, we're contributing to the modularity of Web3, a concept pioneered by Celestia. We're extending this idea further to support more resource-intensive, blockchainless apps through hypermodularity. Our hypermodular approach helps make these applications more efficient and scalable by removing the complexity, latency and risks of external systems.
This infrastructure provides scalable hardware, data availability, sequencing and shared security - enabling decentralized, resource-intensive apps to thrive.
We're committed to building transparency and have mapped out our next steps towards Mainnet.
What’s next?
We're working on demo apps, making INTERX a fully functional DA, and turning KIRA Manager 2 (KM2) into RaaS. We're building a modern, hypermodular blockchain stack. Our goal is to make KIRA a competitive and liquid product.
We appreciate all your support. Upgrading the network after a long development period is tough. We'll recognize all KIRA testers who actively participate in the upgrade process and provide relevant rewards.
