MetaMask has launched a cross-chain bridge feature "MetaMask Bridges" in the MetaMask Portfolio dApp that helps users find the best route to move tokens from one chain to another. Currently, this beta version supports Ethereum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Polygon networks. Users can perform cross-chain transactions between ETH/WETH, ordinary stablecoins (such as DAI) and native Gas tokens (such as MATIC), and each cross-chain amount is as high as $10,000. It is reported that MetaMask Bridges only uses cross-chain bridges reviewed by the team, including Connext, Hop, Celer cBridge, and Polygon Bridge.
