Nike today announced the launch of the Web3 ecosystem platform "Dot Swoosh" with the domain name Swoosh.nike. The project is part of the Nike Virtual Studio and is led by Ron Faris, VP and former head of the Nike Snkrs app. Ron Faris said the Dot Swoosh will be the home of Nike's virtual creations and will be officially released this Friday. The platform will be a place for people to buy, display and trade virtual assets and unlock access to events and products. Nike reportedly purchased the ENS domain “dotswoosh.eth” in May for 19.72 ETH (about $38,000 at the time).
