MADELINE BOUTON (Design Lead): keep a tab open for orb.farm this week.
Sometimes u just gotta sit back and watch the pixels grow 🧫
JOE THERRIEN KELLY(Community Manager): Let’s see… this week I’ve got a few recommendations to share this week. First is this Irish Whiskey (Happy St. Patricks Day!) Shanky’s Whip. It tastes like cream soda. I don’t even really like whiskey to be honest, but this is delicious! Drink responsibly, please. Question for discussion, who is Shanky? The peacock or the driver?
MADELINE: this whiskey graphic is :chef's kiss:
JOE: I know - the colors are so nice! Next, and also in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, is the fantastic play “The Pillowman” by Irish playwright/genius Martin McDonagh (who you might recognize as the writer/director of this year’s absolutely snubbed best picture nominee “The Banshees of Inisherin”) This is one of my all-time favorite plays. The original cast in London included David Tennant and Jim Broadbent, and the Broadway premiere had Billy Crudrup and Jeff Goldblum (!!!) Order a copy and give it a read. Or you could Google “read the pillowman online free pdf,” I can’t stop you, I’m not the police.
MADELINE: Did you see this?
JOE: OMG! No way!? Lily Allen?! LFG!
NEIL MURPHY (Geneva Community Member): Recently stumbled upon this old humor zine that a lot of the original Simpsons writers were drafted from. Incredibly funny and clever. Check it out!
JOE: Great shout! Love this Neil!
BRANDON DEES (Transistor Choreographer): Greetings from St. Martin!
JOE: Dee’s Spring Break Playlist^
JEFF GRECO (Adviser): Recommending the book “Shady Characters: The Secret Life of Punctuation, Symbols, & Other Typographical Marks” by Keith Houston
GABE DEOLIVEIRA (Geneva Community Member): Matt Levine’s Money Stuff Newsletter for people trying to understand what’s going on in the world of finance.
LL bean slippers they’re hella cozy
Hoka slides also super comfy
GRAHAM GODWIN (Geneva Community Member): just saw the Broadway show, “SIX” - was pretty gas. 75 min show, nice and easy, no intermission.
MIKAEL LAINE(Geneva Community Member): I recommend we all read this. Great book. Good stuff.
