This article aims to introduce the basic situation of the Forta project and explain the process of staking scanning nodes.
We have packaged the underlying technology according to Forta's official documents, and can provide a mature staking solution integrating VPS and API. Friends who have staking needs only need to complete the operation of cryptocurrency purchase and click staking button without paying attention to technical details.

Forta is a decentralized monitoring network to detect threats and anomalies on DeFi, NFT, governance, bridges and other Web3 systems in real-time.
Underlying Forta is a decentralized network of independent node operators that scan all transactions and block-by-block state changes for outlier transactions and threats. When an issue is detected, node operators send alerts to subscribers of potential risks, which enables them to take action.
The Forta Network has two main components – detection bots and scan nodes.
Detection Bots
Detection bots refer to a set of code scripts within a Docker container that process some blockchain data (i.e. a block or transaction) and detect specific threat conditions (e.g. whether a flash loan attack occured, or whether a particular account balance fell below some threshold). Bots emit alerts for their findings. Bots are executed by scan nodes. To learn more about bots, see our FAQ section.Scan Nodes
A scan node is a specific type of Forta node that executes detection bots for every transaction and every new block on a specific blockchain network. The scan node manages and coordinates bots (e.g. by instantiating and running bots, and restarting bots that become unresponsive). The scan node ferries blockchain data to bots to process the transaction/block. To learn more about scan nodes, see our FAQ section.
More info:
To be a part of the Forta Network, a scan node should have at least 2500 FORT of active stake staked on its behalf. Rewards are distributed weekly (Tuesday in usual).
Staking more than the minimum in a scan node does not affect the rewards in any way.
A withdrawal consists of two steps: initiating a withdrawal and withdrawing. For security reasons, there is a staking delay between initiation and the actual withdrawal. This delay is currently 10 days and is subject to change in the future.
Visit Metamask’s official website, jump to the Chrome app store, install the plug-in, and write down the mnemonic (it is recommended to record in paper and pen, not in any electronic form), and create a new wallet address.
If you already have a Mexc account, you can ignore this chapter. If you don’t have one, you can visit this link to register and pass KYC.
Prepare enough Usdt to buy FORT, ETH, MATIC in Mexc
Purchase Quantity Description:
FORT: quantity of nodes*2500+200
ETH: 0.02
MATIC: 20+Nodes*1
Withdraw the coins in Mexc to the Metamask wallet.
Click the top of Metamask to copy wallet address
Withdraw in Mexc fill in the Metamask wallet address, network selection instructions:
ETH: ERC20
FORT: ERC20
MATIC:MATIC
ETH is used for FORT gas cross-chain from ETH chain to Polygon chain
MATIC is used to activate nodes and pledge FORT Gas
Keep 20 MATIC in the wallet address, and transfer the quantity of nodes * 1 MATIC to us at the same time, and we will activate the nodes.
Visit this link to bridge the amount of FORT that needs to be staked (ETH chain to Polygon chain)
Generally, you have to wait for about 30 minutes to complete the bridge.
For specific operations on bridge, please refer to the official guidance:
Provide your wallet address to us, and we will output the Scan Node ID (1 ID per node) based on the wallet address, and consume MATIC for activation
Visit this link and connect the Metamask:
Click Add Staking
Fill in the Scan Node Id provided by us
Staking amount input 2500
Click Add staking, you have to click twice, once to approve and once to confirm staking
There will be a prompt if the staking is successful
Repeat 1-5 to complete the pledge of all nodes
Every Tuesday, the Forta project will distribute rewards for the week, and the specific total distribution can be found at this link:
