Huizhou style architecture, also known as Huizhou architecture, is popular in Huizhou [today's Huangshan City, Jixi County (now Xuancheng City, Anhui Province), Wuyuan County (now Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province)] and Western Zhejiang areas such as Yanzhou, Jinhua (formerly known as Wuzhou), Quzhou, etc. As an important part of Hui culture, Hui style architecture has always been respected by Chinese and foreign architects, not specifically Anhui architecture.

Brick, wood and stone are used as raw materials, and wood frame is mainly used. The beam frame is multi-purpose, with huge materials and pays attention to decoration. Brick, wood and stone carvings are also widely used, showing a superb level of decorative art. Huizhou style architecture originated from ancient Huizhou and is a typical representative of architecture in the south of the Yangtze River. Historically, Huizhou merchants operated in Yangzhou, Suzhou and other places, and Huizhou architecture also had a considerable impact on the local architectural style. Hui style architecture faces south and pays attention to internal lighting; Wood and stone are the main raw materials. Load bearing with wooden beams and retaining walls with bricks, stones and soil; With the main hall as the center, it is good at carving beams and painting buildings and decorating roofs and cornices.
