What is GOAL3?
Goal3 is the first decentralized sportsbook built natively on the zkSync Era blockchain. We aim to onboard the next millions of users onto the leading Ethereum L2 solution, by providing a seamless betting experience while maintaining the security and transparency.
What stage of development is Goal3 in?
Goal3 is currently in Dev-net phase and plans to Launch Testnet in Q1 2023. Goal3 development plan is closely related to zkSync.
Where are Goal3 odds taken and calculated from?
Goal3 Odds are created through a combination of different calculation and sources:
-Bet365 API
-Our own calculation ontop of it (re-pricing the house edge)
-Oracle verification (coming soon)
Why is Goal3 built on zkSync Era but connected to Optimism Goerli?
The current Goal3 app is connected to the Optimism Goerli network for testing purposes. Our dev team is currently working on deploying Goal3 on zkSync Era Goerli, expect to be ready next week. Stay tuned!

What is $zkUSD?
$zkUSD is the native stablecoins on the Goal3 platform. It is designed to act as a secure and stable medium of exchange for sports betting. The value of $zkUSD is kept stable at $1, through algorithmic collateralization of assets, ensuring that users can use the stablecoin without having to worry about volatility or conversion rates. All transactions on the Goal3 platform, including bets and winnings, are conducted using $zkUSD, and the redemption of $zkUSD is proportional to the total available liquidity backing the asset. Testnet participants can claim 100 zkUSD per day in the "Daily Faucet" Section on site to test the platform.
