TEA! It’s more than just a sip and goes beyond a conversation. It’s the spilling of ideas and concepts shared between a group of like minded individuals who have similar reservations. Tea is a piping hot sip of fresh ideas, the seeping of dried herbs diluting bland water to create a lasting taste that keeps giving to those who drink from these cups of enlightenment.

A safe haven for the masses to gather and exchange the knowledge they have collected and grown. Like the Black Panthers have done in changing the narrative for their people by creating the Ten Point Program, for the end to police brutality, housing, land, better education, and more. The hot tea poured and overflowed with powerful messages and the need for unity during dark unjust times that we still see today. Safety nets were cast out in safe houses that sheltered beaten and abused women and children only looking for a better life free of violence. Relaxing chamomile easing their tension as they embarked on a new journey free from those who sought out their destruction.

All tea comes in a variety of flavors, a diverse selection that eases the soul, relaxes the mind, and guides you in thought. All occupied spaces share the innovation that drives them towards a common goal. Spaces like those that reside in the tech industry have produced great strides in creation. A child-like burst of excitement in those whose passions exceed beyond the norm, develops amazing advancements in tech. And for this, areas like coffee houses, basements, college libraries and the like have housed these groups. From the sweet aromatic nutty spices of masala chai to the mysterious yet intriguing flavors of nettle tea, the means for such creation relies heavily on rejuvenation and open minds.
