Who is Sminem?

Sminem first sprung onto the scene in 2014 as just a picture of a random Russian kid taking a picture on a pier in front of the ocean. However, in 2018 he was adopted by cryptocurrency communities around the internet and came to represent the savior of crypto and the one who is in control of bull runs. Sminem and the late Bogdanoff twins would often fight epic battles in order to sway the cryptocurrency markets in their desired direction. Sminem fought for green candles while the twins worked hard to keep the average worker poor, bringing red candles and weeding out paper hands.

What are Sminem Particle NFTs

Sminem particles are individual plots of pixels from the original Sminem meme. There are 12,288 particles representing 10x10 pixel plots on the Sminem meme. The NFTs are stored on the Ethereum blockchain using a ERC-721 standard smart contract. However, beyond just being a cool NFT to hold in one's collection, the Sminem particle is packed with utility.

UTILITY

Sminem Tokens

Sminem Tokens are what power the Sminem vault and the broader Sminem community. Sminem token is a meme token but has further use as a token of governance over the Sminem art DAO which is held in a decentralized fractional.art vault. Sminem Token holders get ownership in the vault and have the power to make decisions including initiating an auction for the basket of items at a set price and or increasing the items in the vault through treasury allocations and community decisions. Instead of just trusting the creators of the project with controlling the vault the community has full ownership of the DAO and its holdings.

In addition to utility, these Sminem tokens will become the official meme token of Sminem. Offering them use in the broader internet community as well as within the internal Sminem ecosystem. Future Sminem applications built out by the team and community will be powered by $SMINEM.

Staking

The staking contract will distribute Sminem tokens to NFT holders that deposit their NFTs into the contract. The rate at which tokens will be distributed is 100 $SMINEM per day. This contract will enable loyal Sminem holders to gain more ownership in the Sminem DAO and vault. In addition as the community stakes areas to the vault, Sminem will mint more memes into the vault increasing the holdings and value of the overall vault. This gamification allows for stronger community building as members will have to work together to gather the pixels needed to stake areas and increase the value of the community. This also means that rarity and demand for pixels is variable and based on the communities current most sawed after pixels for staking.

Sminemverse

The Sminemverse will begin with metaverse compatible items airdropped and made available to Sminem holders. Sminem himself plans to reward OG holders with his metaverse “Boy Sminem Cool” t-shirt. The t-shirt which has already been crafted by the founding team will be Decentraland compatible and come as an NFT. The Sminem founding team is dedicated to keeping up with the evolving idea of the Metaverse and plans to introduce relevant metaverse items and features for Sminem holders.
