Trading futures on Deriverse is straightforward. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Access Futures Trading
The setup is similar to spot trading, except that the Charts option is omitted. You can view the price chart for the underlying asset instead.
Step 2: Select an Expiration Date
In the Quotes window, choose from six different expiration dates. The interface resembles the Spot Quotes window but shows a price range indicating the limits of the futures contract. This range helps understand potential price movements before the contract expires.
Step 3: Open a Futures Position
1. Click New Order.
2. Define your price (e.g., set it to the lowest ask to fill instantly).
3. Confirm the order, and the position will appear in the Derivatives Portfolio section.
Example:
Buy 0.1 SOL futures expiring on October 30th for 166 USDC by setting your price and clicking confirm.
Now, you’ve successfully opened a futures position!
