Wang Gang, Secretary of Huzhou municipal Party committee, has been promoted to the Standing Committee of Zhejiang provincial Party committee.

According to the official account of the WeChat public, “Zhejiang development and reform”, Wang Gang, the Provincial Standing Committee and the provincial propaganda department, held a solid Coordination Committee on the preparations for the Summit Forum on the common prosperity in April 24th. Previously, Wang Gang participated in the special meeting of the theoretical learning center group and the meeting of the Standing Committee held by the Zhejiang provincial Party Committee on the morning of March 18.

This also means that Wang Gang is now a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Minister of the propaganda department.

According to the official resume, Wang Gang, male, Han nationality, born in January 1972, has a university degree and is a member of the Communist Party of China.

Wang Gang once served as deputy director of the science, education and Health News Department of Zhejiang Daily, head of Jiaxing reporter Station (concurrently), deputy editor in chief of Xinjiang Metropolis Daily, deputy director of the economic news department of Zhejiang daily interview center, President of Wenzhou Branch of Zhejiang Daily, deputy director of Zhejiang Daily interview center and director of cultural news interview Department (concurrently), member of the Social Committee of Qianjiang newspaper department and chief editor of today morning post, member of the Party committee and vice president of Zhejiang Daily newspaper group Chairman (concurrently) of Zhejiang newspaper media holding group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., member of the Party group and deputy director of the general office of Zhejiang provincial government, Deputy Secretary General of Zhejiang provincial government, Deputy Secretary General of Zhejiang provincial Party committee, deputy secretary general and director of the general office of Zhejiang Provincial Party committee, deputy secretary of Huzhou municipal Party committee and mayor, etc.

In October 2021, Wang Gang was appointed secretary of Huzhou municipal Party committee.

Zhu Guoxian, former member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and head of the Propaganda Department, was transferred to the post of deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee in November 2021.
