Camp Network is a composable data layer that is shaping the future for blockchain-based consumer applications. Camp Network utilizes off-chain data from Web2 social and streaming platforms for on-chain value creation. Any team building on top of the Camp L2 can access user data, with the goal of creating a sustainable app-friendly ecosystem. Our 75+ team ecosystem consists of blue-chip teams (LayerZero, Privy, Rarible) along with 10+ native / exclusive teams across the entertainment, media and gamefi segments. We’re looking to expand this ecosystem by helping nascent teams find superior PMF on our chain.

The goal is simple: we want to support visionary builders focused on onboarding the next generation of users to blockchain.

   • Platforms that allow direct interaction between artists and fans, facilitating everything from content distribution to fan interaction

   • Enable artists to issue tokens for exclusive content or early access to tickets, while leveraging web2 fan data

   • Fans could earn rewards for promoting their favorite artists, enhancing community engagement, curating the most followed playlists

2. “InfluencerFi”

   • Platforms that leverage web2 social data to better incentivize user engagement and purchase behavior between creator and community (across fashion, food, music, etc.)

   • Token-gated communities, rewards for engaging with UGC on web2 social platforms, rewards for engaging with products (i.e. digi-physical/NFC chipped based fashion)

3. Perps on Social Interactions

   • Platforms that explore derivatives based on social media metrics, such as betting on engagement metrics from popular social platforms

   • Develop a market for predicting the virality of social media content, supported by analytical tools

   • Speculate on the popularity trends of artists based on real-time streaming data

4. Prediction Markets

   1. Platforms where users can wager on various real-world events, ranging from political outcomes to entertainment

   2. Expand into diverse topics including sports and scientific discoveries

   3. Integrate crowd wisdom features to enhance prediction accuracy and use smart contracts for automated resolution

What Do Winners Receive?

1. Financial Support: Receive a grant from Camp in the form of $CAMP token allocation (opportunity for a cash investment as well) and gas rebates.

2. Ecosystem Support: Access to a BD and support funnel across Web3 and Web2 ecosystems. Our Web3 ecosystem includes leading infrastructure partners, node operators, native wallet solutions, crosschain enablers, etc. Our Web2 ecosystem includes brands, media agencies, music labels, management companies and conglomerates. Recipients will also receive access to Camp’s close network of investors, advisors and founders.

3. What does the review process look like?

   1. We will review the nominations frequently. The team will conduct calls with founders (and test projects of companies) that are selected. Given the size of the potential nomination cohort, the team will not be responding to every request and will only reach out should the project pass an initial screen.
