The Guide to Phases

Central A.I.: Greetings, Citizens and new travellers to the HUXLEY Universe.

This Transmission contains vital information for minting ISSUE 4: The Guide.

Summary

  • Minting will happen exclusively on the homepage of https://huxleysaga.com/
  • Minting will start at 4pm PST on May 26th.
  • Mint price: 0.1Ξ per issue Minting starts at serial #101 (serials #1-100 are preminted for auctions + giveaways).
  • Priority / Current Holder Phases (1-6) will run for 24 hours.
  • Allow List winners will mint in Phase 7.
  • Public Phases (8 onwards) will mint after Phase 7, until all Phases have been unlocked.

Phases

Phases will run for 4 hours each, starting at 4pm PST on May 26th. Phases will continue to unlock until we sell out or hit the last Phase. If we have not sold out at the end of all Phases, we will open a General Sale.

You can search this document to find your Phase: Google Sheets Public Phases

Please note: The first tab contains all eligible addresses. The “RandomizedPublicList” tab is contained for proof of the randomization method.

Some users can have both a Priority minting Phase and a second Public minting Phase. The amount you can mint is separate between Priority Phases and Public Phases, and communicated in the document. For example, a user could have 10 mints max during Phase 2 and 2 mints max in Phase 12. The user would be able to mint 10 at Phase 2 or after and an additional 2 mints starting at Phase 12.

The data in this sheet matches that which was uploaded to IPFS prior to randomization (linked at the end).

The Max Mints per Phase is the number of mints unlocked for minting during that Phase.
The Max Mints per Phase is the number of mints unlocked for minting during that Phase.

Current Holders (Phases 1-6)

Users will be able to mint their Current Holder allocation when their Phase starts, and in any following Phase. Current Holders have been allocated mints based on their holdings from the snapshot.

Current Holders that won Allowlist spots have had 2 mints added to their allocation in their initial minting Phase. If they entered the Public Pre-mint, they have also been allocated a Public Phase, and 2 mints in that Public Phase.

There are ~300 wallets per Current Holder Phase.

Allow List Minting (Phase 7)

Phase 7 will start at approximately 4pm PST May 27th (24 hours after minting begins) and run for 4 hours. All Allowlist members that were not Current Holders have been assigned to Phase 7.

There are 465 wallets for this Phase.

Public Phases (Phases 8 onwards)

The Public Phases have 500 wallets per Phase and will begin with Phase 8.

There will be a maximum of 2 mints per wallet in the Public Phases.

With Premint, we received over 24,000 entries. After extensive analysis and discussion, this number was brought down to ~9,000 using the following parameters:

  • We removed ~4,000 entries due to duplicate IP’s, keeping the first instance per IP.
  • We removed wallets connected to Twitter accounts with less than 5 followers and zero ETH balances
  • We removed wallets with clear connections between groups of Twitter accounts, with similar follow counts and zero ETH balances.

We apologize if any legitimate users were removed due to our actions, but protecting the larger majority was the only appropriate course of action.

Randomisation

The process we have used is as follows:

  1. Generated the Current Holder and the FULL Public lists.
  2. Assigned a number to each wallet.
  3. Uploaded lists and numbers to IPFS.
  4. Generated a provably fair random number using our Chainlink VRF Smart Contract
  5. Used the generated random number as the “persistent identifier” for randomizing the wallets based on their number.
  6. The newly randomized numbers are assigned to wallets, to get their Phase.

We used the list randomizer located at: https://www.random.org/lists/?mode=advanced.

Using this service with the random numbers generated by Chainlink results in fair and transparent randomization. The “true” randomness comes from our Chainlink contract, however the script that randomizes is located on random.org.

Users can verify and check what we have done by using the number generated by our contract, and pasting the lists from the IPFS file that was uploaded prior to generating the random numbers.

The random number is: 28743203787311859596332960627190533066288512021561701446600693538682396364538

Users can find this number by visiting our contract, and putting the number 6 into  the read function titled “4. s_randomWords”.
