Forms taking shape,

The signs on the walls of the cave come alive,

Scenes painted, recreated, tainted memories reconstructed,

Deconstruct the narrative.

Messages passed back and forth through the air, detected and intercepted,

I see through the walls, into what lies at the core of every being,

Unwind the connection between body and mind,

My neurons mirroring reality,

Dismantle vanity, I see the totality with clarity,

Tap into the pulse at the center of the world,

Cut through tailwinds, counting my breath,

Keep running even when I’m aching,

Feeling the pulse, steeling my knuckles,

I buckle as the acceleration takes hold.

Illusion of separation dissolved,

I expand the center around which I revolve,

Resolve the impasse by melting walls,

Break my own fall,

I answer the call rising from my heart,

Playing host to the surge,

The energy swerving, curving,

I come to know my song.

Inner visions externalized,

Boundaries of self compromised,

Convergence recognized,

I taste the signals passing between my eyes,

Crack the lies,

Grew stronger with every breath,

Aware of death looming.

Zoom into the details, set sail, follow the trail,

Done biting my nails,

Survival instinct awakened,

Memories of the past enlivened,

I remember all I’ve seen,

Crack open the dream and step into the pit,

This is where I spit into the fire,

Watching the flames subsume my words.
