Bridge ETH from mainnet to Arbitrum Nova using the Arbitrum bridge.
It will take around 10 minutes to complete the bridge with an average fee of around $1.5 worth of ETH. Remember to keep some ETH in mainnet too for future transactions like claiming an airdrop. Also, bridge more than 0.02 ETH.
Now, you are on Arbitrum Nova.
Bridge to Arbitrum One using Orbiter Bridge.
Note that we can even use the Arbitrum Bridge again, but there is no fun in that, right? Anyway, using a different protocol helps us to get airdrops of that protocol token too. It is not assured or anything, but there is no harm in trying. Moreover, if the ecosystem gets big, all these transactions will be classified as OG transfers, and make the wallets eligible for future airdrops as well.
Make sure you have selected L2 Bridge option. Now select Arbitrum Nova as the ‘From chain’ and Arbitrum as the ‘To Chain’ (refer to snapshot). Bridge all ETH available in Arbitrum Nova to Arbitrum. It will cost you some gas around $0.5 and bridging will be completed in 50 seconds.
Now your ETH is on Arbitrum One.
You can now bridge back to Mainnet using the Arbitrum bridge. But if you want to experiment more for possible airdrops, proceed to Step 4.
Go to Kromatica Protocol.
Connect your Metamask wallet and switch to Arbitrum Network.
If you are unable to find Arbitrum, go to Chainlist (link below) and add the network.
Now swap some ETH to KROM or USDC or USDT. The purpose is to generate some trading volume. Swap back to ETH after a minute.
You have ETH in Arbitrum Network now.
Bridge ETH from Arbitrum to Optimism using LIFI Transferto.
Remember to leave some ETH as gas fee and select the fast route.
Now your ETH is in Optimism. I suggest bridging a small amount only, to be on the safe side.
Now Bridge ETH in Optimism to Mainnet using Bungee exchange.
The transaction takes 5 minutes to complete and uses a gas fee of approximately $1.
Well, that’s it. Overall, it costs you less than $5 to do all the transactions, but the potential for the airdrop is very high. Also, you are leaving your wallet-prints all over the bridge solutions, which can help you get early access into NFT projects too. Fingers crossed :)
