As we have been discussing intersectionality in Theirsverse, we do want to probe just a little bit deeper into the multiple divides we are seeing around.

Jari Jones happens to be one of the main inspirations behind Theirsverse. She was included as the first black transqueer and plus-size model to be featured in a major fashion house campaign.

Even though Calvin Klein has been a relatively “woke brand” for many years, there is no denying that they, same as most fashion brands, used mostly white, slender, cis-gender models which contributed to their iconic legacy.

But just as Jari Jones said, “fashion is going to have to be inclusive.” Why would anyone be bothered by a black plus-size trans woman appearing on billboards? A reasonable explanation is simply because they do not see these images as often.

Theirsverse believes that everyone should be seen, represented, and worthy of celebration and compassion. We are expanding this notion to web3 with the mission to celebrate diversity and represent marginalized groups, so they are heard and seen. This is just the beginning🌈We are Theirs!
