**Quinn Le：**Hi @mod and community, I’m Quinn Le - Community Lead from Crust Network. Crust Network is a decentralized storage solution for metaverse. We host data for both dapps and individual users. Recently we have launched a new product called Crust Files. we are doing a huge incentive program with a reward pool of 2,000,000 CRU to promote this product.

**Quinn Le：**You can think about Crust Files as Google Drive 2.0 To use Crust Files, you need a Crust Wallet, which is an extension like metamask running on Crust Network. Then go to Crustfiles.io to connect the wallet and start uploading files, folders, video, images etc. You will get a link for your files and if you want to share your files with your friends, you can just simply send them the link.
The experience is very much like using google drive, where you have to create a google account and log in to start storing files.

IPFSNEWS：What are the differences of Crust Files and Web2.0 products (Baidu Cloud Drive, etc.); what are the features of other similar products (Filecoin, Arweave, etc.) and what different experience can users bring?
**Quinn Le：**Let’s first compare Crust Files and other web 2.0 storage products like Google Drive, Dropbox and Baidu Cloud Drive.
The biggest difference is the underlying network of storage. Centralized storage applications will centrally store users' files in their computer rooms, while Crust will store users' files in a distributed manner on the hard disks of nodes around the world. Therefore, Crust storage can bring users higher data security (no centralized control), faster file pull speed (you can pull files from nearby nodes around the world), and cheaper storage prices (Crust nodes utilize the idle resources of the computer, and the cost is lower than that of a centralized computer room).
About other decentralized storage solutions like Filecoin and Arweave, we also have some difference that we are proud of:

IPFSNEWS：We are very concerned that Crust main network is participating in the Polkadot parallel slot auction. Would Quinn please introduce the latest progress of the auction to the community partners?
**Quinn Le：**Crust is now participating in 2nd batch of the Polkadot Parachain Slot Auction. Regarding this auction, Crust provides multiple channels for participation. Different platforms have different rewards, and there may be referral rewards and early bird rewards which we are discussing internally. There are 9 platforms in total. Crust has also prepared a raffle for contributors, a total of 10,000 CRU lucky draw will be shared among 10 randomly selected winners (1 DOT contribution gets 1 ticket).
At present, Crust has won the parallel chain of the Kusama network, and now Crust Shadow is running steadily.

IPFSNEWS：Would Quinn please tell us the role and significance of the Polkadot parallel slot auction for the later development of Crust, and whether there are any changes for the community and miners after the completion of the slot auction?
**Quinn Le：**After the successful auction of the parachain slot, it will be more convenient for Crust to provide storage services for other Polkadot ecological projects, which will help the construction and development of Polkadot ecological infrastructure. For Crust, the threshold for cooperation with other projects has been lowered, making Crust more open and decentralized.
If the slot auction can be successfully auctioned, it will further increase the influence of the Crust community and bring more cooperation opportunities for Crust. At the same time, we believe that it will also make Crust more valuable, better attract miners to provide storage nodes for Crust, and the Crust network will become more robust.
Here are the Free Questions
1、How does the project increase the value, liquidity and utility of tokens?
Right now our partners have to pay for our miners the storage fee in our token. Our token investors can stake our token to get a high APY now, it's around 100% at the moment. Moreover, to become our premium user to get unlimited storage, our users also have to stake 2 CRU. So I believe there is a lot of room for the token to grow. As many users starting using Crust Network, the revenue generated will increase vertically.
2、A lot of people are saying it's going to be a financial crisis this year, so what did CRUST do about it.
Since we are doing decentralized storage, our main goal is to get as many users as possible. Therefore, the financial crisis is not a main concern since we are financially strong to continue building in downtrend. We has a great support from Decentralized storage foundation who not only support us technically but also financially. We also get resources from large Venture Capital so we are quite confident that we can survive the financial crisis if it happens.
3、In most projects, user experience is a very important issue. Especially for new users, what efforts have you made?
when we build our project, user experience is always our top priority. This reflects well in the way Crust Files is built.
To use Crust Files, you only need to create a crust wallet, connect to the site crustfiles.io and start uploading file and sharing to your friends.
If you compare with google drive, it's like creating a google account and upload your files on there.
4、I think this year is still the trend of GameFi. Does CRUST have any plans to cooperate with famous game companies?
We are actively looking for other NFTs projects to see if they want to store their data with us and there were some obvious success. We are in very good partnership with Kaka NFT and other projects. Since NFTs is a common assets in Gamefi so we do believe there a lot of room for partnership with other gamefi projects.
5、Comparing with AR,what are the major advantages of CRUST?
We share a lot of things in common, we both build our own network and develop several dapps on that to fit with users' demand. The most obvious advantage I can see right now is that we are way cheaper, and I believe it comes from the way we approach the storage solution, which allows us to reduce the price significantly. Moreover, from my own experience, I don't feel that arweave is very friendly to individual user. I can not upload my personal file as easy as I can do with Crust. And Crust provides free trial so it is a huge plus point for me.
