LensVerse is growing and evolving alongside its supportive LensFrens. Day by day, we are getting more excited with new developments and finding more opportunities to explore LensVerse!

Here, we would like to share some of the recent developments in the Lens team, Lens projects, and Lens community over the past week.

• Yup's New Feature: Yup has announced its new feature, aggregated notifications, now live in Yup Mobile.

• Lens Improvement Proposals (LIPs): Lens has introduced Lens Improvement Proposals (LIPs), which is a process that fosters an inclusive, transparent, and collaborative environment for decentralized governance.

• Messari's Momoka Research: Messari has shared its research about Momoka. According to the research, Momoka handles 25-50% of total Lens transactions.

• Buttrfly's New Feature: Buttrfly has announced its new feature where you can now upload up to 10 images in one post.

• DiverseHQ's New Update: DiverseHQ has announced its latest update, allowing users to select their video thumbnail.

• Subscriptions on Lenster: Subscriptions are now available on Lenster via Superfluid.

• Soclly Introduced v0.2.5: Soclly has introduced its new version, v0.2.5, and explained some exciting updates from the new version.

Lens Statistics

We’ve included the latest Lens statistics from lenscan.io, a project built by one of our developer frens, in the table below. In each weekly edition of Lensletter, we will be able to track the development of the Lens ecosystem together by providing these statistics up-to-date. Lens App: Buttrfly

In the third edition of Lensletter, we will be introduced to Buttrfly, a web3 social explorer built on Lens.

What is Buttrfly?:

Discover the boundless world of Buttrfly, the web3 social explorer powered by Lens Protocol. It offers a range of features that allow users to explore trending photos, watch the latest videos, and listen to music published on Lens Protocol. Additionally, the Buttrfly app provides an enhanced browsing experience on Lens Protocol, both on the home screen and the explore screen. Users can discover curated profiles of musicians, photographers, and more.

The possibilities of Buttrfly:

• Flexible & Customizable Push Notifications: Buttrfly allows users to personalize their push notifications by selecting which types of notifications to receive and choosing to receive them from everyone or only from profiles they follow.

• Monetization Opportunities: You can post paid collects and monetize your content.

• Available on IOS & Android: You can now use Buttrfly on the beta version, which is available for both iOS and Android.

• Public for Everyone: You can use Buttrfly app even without having a Lens profile.

• Separate Notification Tabs: There are now separate tabs for mentions, comments, mirrors, collects, likes, and follows.

• Explore Screen: There is an Explore screen with curated lists of profiles, and trending images, videos, and audio.

• Audio Playlists: You can listen to a playlist of profile's audio tracks, or all trending tracks on the Explore Audio screen.

What can you do in the Buttrfly app?

• Pinned Posts to pin one of your posts to the top of your profile

• Sending images and GIFs in Messages

• Uploading videos in your posts and messages

• Audio tab on the Explore and Profile screens for listening to podcasts (NFTs) and music

• Seeing post details, who commented, mirrored, collected, and liked a post

• Getting AI-generated summaries for long posts

• Exploring communities around specific topics
