From August 19, the reconstruction construction of ertouwan interchange of the third ring road began, and the construction continued until August 30, 2024. During the construction period, six ramps will be closed and only two ramps (the Third Ring Road North to G107 and G107 to Changfeng bridge) will be reserved, which will affect the road traffic to a certain extent. The public security traffic control department issued relevant detour suggestions to remind citizens to pay attention in time and plan their travel routes reasonably.

Closed ramp point

During the construction period, six ramps of ertouwan interchange will be closed, namely: B ramp of ertouwan interchange (from the north of the Third Ring Road to Gongnong Road), B1 ramp (from Changfeng bridge to Gongnong Road), B2 ramp (from Gongnong Road to the north of the Third Ring Road), e ramp (from Changfeng bridge to G107), f ramp (from G107 to the north of the Third Ring Road) On ramp H (Gongnong Road to Changfeng bridge), motor vehicles are prohibited.

Traffic impact assessment

After the six ramps of ertouwan interchange are closed, Chaoyang Road, Dongxihu Avenue, Gutian Second Road and other roads are the main diversion channels. According to the current traffic operation conditions, it is expected that the peak hour flow of Chaoyang Road ramp intersection of the third ring road will rise from 2300 vehicles / hour to more than 3500 vehicles / hour, exceeding its traffic capacity of 3200 vehicles / hour, and there will be normal congestion in the morning and evening peak hours.

Dongxihu Avenue (the Third Ring Road to linkangang Avenue) and Gutian Second Road (the Third Ring Road to Changfeng Avenue) are saturated in the morning and evening peak, with high traffic pressure and limited diversion capacity. It is expected that there will be a certain degree of congestion in the morning and evening peak.

The traffic police suggest that the general public should choose public transport as far as possible to travel in relevant sections, or stagger the peak or bypass to avoid congestion.

Specific detour suggestions

1、 Detour lines for freight cars and large passenger cars

Bypass line 1: Qintai Avenue, Hancai Expressway and the Fourth Ring Road return to G107 via Changqing toll station and Fumin road.

Detour line 2: Chaoyang Road, linkanggang Avenue (height limit: 3.9m), or detour zhangbihu Road, Yuanbo Avenue and Gongnong Road.

It is suggested to bypass Chaoyang Road, Gutian Second Road and Changfeng Avenue in the direction of Changfeng bridge to Gongnong Road.

G107 to the north of the Third Ring Road, it is suggested to bypass Fumin Road, Changqing toll station, Fourth Ring Road and Qiaoxiao expressway, or bypass Wuhan North toll station, ring expressway and Qiaoxiao expressway.

Or bypass Chaoyang Road and the Third Ring Road, or bypass Gongnong Road, Changfeng Avenue, Gutian Second Road and the third ring road.

Gongnong Road goes to the north of the third ring road. It is suggested to bypass Chaoyang Road and the Third Ring Road, or Changfeng Avenue, Gutian Second Road and the third ring road.

It is suggested to bypass Chaoyang Road and the Third Ring Road in the direction of Gongnong Road to Changfeng bridge.

It is suggested to bypass Chaoyang Road in the direction of Gongnong Road in the north of the Third Ring Road, or Gutian Second Road and Changfeng Avenue in advance.

2、 Detour route of medium-sized and below passenger cars

In the direction of Changfeng bridge to G107 and Gongnong Road, it is suggested to bypass zhangbihu Road, Yuanbo Avenue and Gongnong Road, or Qiaoxiao Expressway and Jinshan Avenue.

G107 to the north of the Third Ring Road, it is suggested to bypass Lingang Avenue, Jinshan Avenue, Qiaoxiao Expressway and the Third Ring Road, or Gongnong Road, Yuanbo Avenue, Changfeng Avenue and the third ring road.

Gongnong Road goes to the north of the third ring road. It is suggested to bypass Yuanbo Avenue, Changfeng Avenue and the third ring road.

It is suggested to bypass Yuanbo Avenue, Changfeng Avenue and the Third Ring Road in the direction of Gongnong Road to Changfeng bridge.

It is suggested to bypass the elevated Changfeng Avenue, Yuanbo Avenue and Gongnong Road in the north direction of the third ring road.
