In this weekly newsletter, we would love to announce some major changes in the Hands-free mode scholarship on NinjaDAOs, as a result from the official update on Axie Infinity. We must adapt to the officials decision while giving our customers a fair insurance baseline. The changes will go live at UTC 0:00, Feb 21st.
How we change?
Since now our SLP only rely on our PVP performance, our baseline now should set to be:
- Now, for any stake (hands-free) scholarship that is not floor and with >1200 MMR, we will have a qualified scholar to finish your daily yield farming with at least 1200 MMR with 50% win rate. If this requirement is not met, we will pay from our pocket to match with this minimum standard
- Calculation Equation = 0.5 x 20x (1200 MMR multiplier)
Why change?
Previously, our standards for Minimum Guaranteed SLP is based on the fact that NinjaDAOs scholars are responsible in finishing the following modules:
- Daily quests: 25 SLP
- PVE: 50 SLP
- PVP(based on 20 energy 50% win rate around 1200 MMR): 50% x 20 x 3 = 30 SLP
Therefore, ROUND DOWN TO 100 SLP DAILY
Calculation Equation = (25 + 50 + 30) round down to 100 SLP
The above calculation is representing the benchmark yield that we are offering to our managers, meaning that our scholars should at least finish PVE, Daily quest, and keep their MMR above 1200 MMR. If not, we will pay from our pocket to match with this minimum standard.
However, after the official updates, PVE rewards and daily quest rewards are removed, which means that any Axie account can now only generate SLP through PVP arenas. This update has a great impact on SLP productivity and we are aware that this is a step that the Axie Infinity official must take in order to save the ecosystem of the game.
Comparatively, they are decreasing 75 SLP from the previous 100 SLP basic earnings, weakening the earning potential by 75%.
