Kava 13 mainnet upgrade has been postponed to May 17

Kava Network announced in the official Telegram group that the Kava Labs engineering team discovered a non-deterministic bug on the testnet last week. They have found the source of the problem and are upgrading the testnet to fix the bug. Out of prudent considerations, the Kava 13 mainnet upgrade has been postponed to May 17th at 23:00 Beijing time.

It is reported that the Kava 13 upgrade includes: 1. Kava EVM 2.0, which will improve performance through full-node software optimization and hosting service provider expansion, eliminate downtime and accelerate the processing of large amounts of data requests from protocols and wallets to support the launch of new protocols; 2. Cosmos-Ethereum bridge, increasing the utility of wallets, dApps and assets on the Cosmos SDK and EVM chain; 3. Vault control, with the expansion of the Strategic Vault function, Kava DAO will be able to manage its treasury and deploy resources to any protocol on Kava.
