As 2022 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the progress we've made and to express our gratitude for your support. This past year has been a truly exciting time for us at meson.fi, and we're proud of the milestones we've achieved together.

Data

• Meson launched its service on March 2022 and had a sharp rise in transaction volume, reaching over $2 billion from zero.

• Meanwhile, the total number of transactions surpassed $1.5 million with a remarkable average processing time of just 74 seconds. In 2022, Meson provided support for 3 stablecoins across 19 networks.

• Initially, Meson’s service was limited to Avalanche, Polygon, BNB Chain, Fantom, Ethereum, and Conflux. However, we soon expanded our solutions to other major chains and Layer2s within the following 10 months.

• There are 4 most widely used chains among all cross-chain users: BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism, each accounting for almost 20% of transaction percentages over an extended period. The result is due to the low gas fees from the 4 chains and nearly zero processing fees from Meson.

In 2023, we will continue to expand and improve our features and enhance existing ones to better meet the needs of our users.

Ecosystem

We have introduced our service on 19 high-performing blockchain networks since our initial launch in March 2022, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Tron, Avalanche, Polygon, Fantom, Harmony, Aurora (NEAR), Evmos (Cosmos), Cronos, Conflux eSpace, Moonbeam, Moonriver, EOS TrustEVM, Aptos and Algorand (coming soon), as well as layer-2 networks like Arbitrum, Optimism and zkSync, providing minutes-fast, super economical, and point-to-point stablecoins swaps with no slippage and no gas fee.

It is worth mentioning that, in Q4 2022, we took the top place in both the Tron Hackathon and Aptos Grant DAO. Furthermore, we have formed partnerships with several decentralized applications, including Martian, Fewcha, and Petra wallet.

In Aug 2022, we introduced the Meson Premium Program which attracted over 500 members. One of the key benefits is that there is no service fee for total swap amounts of up to $500,000. Moreover, the maximum single swap amount for members is capped at $10,000 and they have the option to hide their transactions in the Meson Explorer. These and other benefits make being a Meson Premium a smart choice. This year, we aim to enhance Meson Premium by offering exclusive benefits and expanding partnerships for the growth of the broader ecosystem.

Building the future

As we look ahead to 2023, we're excited to build upon our progress and continue to drive innovation in the cross-chain space. From new partnerships to expand services, we're confident that 2023 will be another successful year for Meson and for our community. As web3 continues to mature, the adoption of stablecoins for cross-chain swapping is expected to increase. This will make it easier for users to swap stable coins across different chains, providing greater liquidity and accessibility. To speed up stablecoin adoption on a large scale, we will be launching 2 new products to the public shortly - ALLsTo and Meson.to, both are powered by Meson.

AllsTo simplifies the process of creating a web3 payment identity and makes it easy to receive payments in stablecoins. With a few clicks, you can create a personalized payment link for any chain and stablecoin and share it with others. When someone wants to pay, they can access the link or scan the QR code, and the payment will be made directly to their linked wallet in the selected stablecoin & chosen blockchain. It was fostered by the Meson team and now is currently compatible with major wallets on different chains.

• Meson.to

Meson.to enables web3 applications to reach users and assets on any chains. By using the cross-chain transfer SDK offered by meson.to, these apps can rapidly expand their user base and TVL from all major blockchains and layer2’s with almost zero fees & slippage.

Community

The devs are putting effort into coding and users are actively using it, but let's not forget the community is also involved. In 2022, we saw the creation of a group of contributors and its unparalleled influence, so we are planning to create a complete contributor system that basically contains three components: Growth, Memorial, and Community Achievement. The Growth credential will be awarded to users who take part in tasks related to contributing and collaborating on projects; The Memorial credential will be given to users who participate in special events and holiday celebrations; The Community Achievement credential will be presented to users who participate in campaigns such as AMA, community calls, and being active in community campaigns. These credentials will serve as a record of each member's accomplishments and will likely be useful in the future.

Speaking of records, there is much to celebrate this year at Meson. To commemorate it we're releasing a dedicated OAT for Meson’s supporters in the last year. To claim it, you must have claimed at least one Meson OAT on Galxe in 2022.
