Let's dive into the details!
We're excited to announce that we're adding pairs with bolstered resilience to enhance our platform's overall performance.
We've included key stats since the last Buffer Digest for both Arbitrum and Polygon.
We're partnering with GND Protocol for the official launch of GND Farm, which will provide exclusive liquidity incentivization for $BFR Liquidity Pairs.
The Buffer Action Plan is still in place. As we continue to monitor all activity on the platform and pool health very closely, circuit breakers remain in place along with the lower limits on OI & trade size.
Additionally, we've launched the Buffer Loyalty Program to foster enhanced user adoption, platform growth, and increased trading volume.
The program introduces the LBFR (loyalty buffer) token for trade mining and exciting upcoming utilities, such as minting and trading NFT and a liquidity pool. You can read more about the program's tiered-based reward system here:
We've finalized our incident report and compensation structure for LPs affected by the drawdown on April 4th. We've published the full list of affected wallets and compensation for aBLP/uBLP, and funds will be distributed via airdrop.
We've reached an important milestone in terms of fees collected since Jan. 30th: $500,000! Our next milestone is $1 million.
New pairs added and changes to pool limits:
We've added binary options for $ARB, $BNB, $MATIC, and $OP, and made changes to the trade limits, max open interest, and pool limits.
Buffer now offers binary options for:
$ARB
$BNB
$MATIC
$OP
Additional changes:
Higher trade limits - the new maximum trade size is 1000 $USDC or 1000 $ARB for all pools
Max Open Interest:
POL: 2000 $USDC
uBLP: 5000 $USDC
aBLP: 3000 $ARB
New pool limits:
uBLP Cap: 10 Mil. $USDC
aBLP Cap: 10 Mil. $ARB
We hosted our second community call on April 27th, where we discussed recent problems and exploits and covered the lessons learned from these episodes.
