Ecosystem news

BIP-02 voting

BIP-02 went live on a snapshot on May 26th, at the time of writing this report, we have 2 days until voting ends on June 3rd at 16:00 GMT.  As you probably remember from our last weekly update, the Buffer Improvement Proposal 02 has been published. It outlined the implementation of a deflationary mechanism for the $BFR token.

Here's a reminder of the items covered by the proposal:

· $BFR Community Allocation Unlock

· Proposal to burn 30M $BFR

· Implementing $ BFR-based Trading & partial Fee Burn

· Target Max Supply of 50M

New milestone achieved

We're thrilled to announce we have achieved a new milestone: 5 Million USD Total Volume!

Binary Options remain our core product & we're excited to see the sustained uptrend in volume! And seeing such growth and energy in our amazing community means we'll have more milestone updates like this one quite soon.

LBFR rewards announcement

This week we had a rewards-related report.

We’re currently working on a more robust version of LBFR, which we have crafted to be a stronger and radically more equitable system. That’s why the program has been temporarily discontinued.

But stay tuned, as updates and airdrops are coming soon!

Not to worry, LBFR rewards will resume soon, but with a new and improved model.

Note that this isn't related to $BFR staking on the earn page – rewards remain unchanged.

This particular update is in regard to the Loyalty Reward Token LBFR only.

We spotted the potential behind their vision, so we became one of the earliest protocols to join them in making that vision a reality. And we are excited to see their amazing progress in becoming a cornerstone of the Arbitrum DeFi ecosystem.
