Ecosystem news

Voting on BIP-02 has ended

The Buffer Improvement Proposal has been unanimously approved, garnering a total voting power of 7.8M $BFR. We were thrilled to witness such active participation and to receive invaluable feedback.

As an immediate outcome of the proposal's approval, we executed our first BIP-02-based burn, eliminating 20 million $BFR from circulation.

As per the proposal, an additional 10 million $BFR will be burned upon reaching the following milestones:

• Achieving a total platform volume of $10M

• Accumulating 2000 $BFR holders

Weekly APR adjustments

New total APRs:

• $BFR: 17.74%

• $USDC vault (uBLP): 46.5%

• $ARB vault (aBLP): 18.22%

Airdrop:

• 491 $ARB of last week’s fees reserved for Airdrop to $BFR stakers

As for total fees and volume:

We concluded the week with an additional announcement. In anticipation of our new Dynamic Payout System, we have temporarily modified the payouts on Crypto and Forex pairs.

What’s in the pipeline? This week, we're excited to share the news that will undoubtedly delight many of our users. We're introducing a feature that has been in high demand - coming soon to Buffer!

What does this entail?

• Traders will have the ability to close positions early, adjusting for profit or loss.

We collaborated with Tender Finance for their Tendie Tuesday Space event this past Wednesday.
