Y’all been watching the World Cup? Matches are getting exciting and so does our PuffGo Football Mode. Many have been wondering: how to join the PuffGo Football Mode? What do we need to join the game? What’s our daily routine look like in PuffGo and Puffverse? Puffs, this article will give you the detailed guidlines.

Step 1: Get Your NFTs

To enter the game, you need at least 1 Puff Genesis or 1 Puff Football NFT.

For Puff Genesis, you can purchase them on the secondary market.

For Puff Football NFT, you can also purchase the Puff Team NFT on Binance NFT and redeem it on puffverse.pro. Or get the redeemed Puff Football NFT on the secondary market.

About Puff Football NFT

Puff Football NFT is a limited-edition NFT collection that can be used in different Puffverse products. It was released at a very early stage which means the cost of getting one would be cheaper than the later users. The overall quantity of Puff Football NFT is 3,840. All 3,840 are unique NFTs that are divided into 32 teams (120 NFTs each).

Users can use Puff Football NFT to participate in the PuffGo Football Beta version on Nov 20th and participate in PuffTown V1 (simulation game) on December 25th. The NFTs will allow you to Play-to-Own, Skill-to-Earn, and Build-to-Earn. Needless to say that our characters have different personalities, stories, and skills with cute faces that can be used as your DID and PFP in Web 3. The typical single-character settings were abandoned in favor of a character set that emphasizes “Who I am” by letting the users choose from different characters. Each character has their own character traits — Everyone is born different, and everyone can confidently be their best self — There is always a role whose characteristic can be projected onto the individual player, triggering the maverick GenZ users' empathy for "being brave and being yourself," allowing them to accept and integrate into Puff's world.

Users can also participate in the Win or Lose session to guess the match result, as well as play in the PuffGo Beta version.

The Luck Value of all Puff Football NFT falls in between 150-250. After the final of World Cup 2022, we will change the metadata accordingly and grant the NFT that represents winning teams more luck value and change in outfit.

The rules of increase in Luck Value are as follows:

For all NFTs that represent the 1st place, 100 Luck Value will be added each.
For all NFTs that represent the 2nd place, 60 Luck Value will be added each.
For all NFTs that represent the 3rd place, 40 Luck Value will be added each.
For all NFTs that represent the 4th-8th place, 20 Luck Value will be added each.

Luck Value is crucial in PuffTown and PuffGo officials.

How to Redeem Your Puff Team NFT to Puff Football NFT

Remember that after you get the Puff Team NFT, you need to redeem it to Puff Football NFT in order to participate in all the events and join the game.

The steps are as follows:

1. Get your Puff Team NFT on Binance NFT.

2. Withdraw the Team NFT to your address.

3. Redeem your Team NFT to Puff Football NFT with the team’s costume in https://puffverse.pro/footballmint. Eg. If you have Puff Football Qatar, you can redeem one of the Qatari-designed NFTs in the collection.

You can then check your Puff in My Puff.

Step 2: Join the PuffGo Football Mode for a higher Rank

After having your Puff Football NFT in your wallet, it’s time for the game!!

You can use your Puff Genesis and Puff Football NFT to enjoy the Football Mode in the game and compete with each other. The way to enter the PuffGo Football is to get Passes, each game costs 1 Pass. You can ‘Get Account’ from your Puff Genesis and Puff Football NFT, each Puff Genesis account will have 5 Passes and each Puff Football NFT will have 3 Passes in-game for the football mode per day, and will be restored to 5 or 3 at 10 AM UTC every day.

PuffGo football mode originally only opens in two periods of time in a day: 10 PM - 12 AM (Midnight) UTC, and 8 AM - 10 AM UTC.

Now, we will be extending the game period: 10 PM - 1 AM UTC, and 7 AM - 10 AM UTC!! Adding 1 hour to each period would better benefit the users.

Since the mode is only for entertainment during the match break, we make sure that there’s no match during the opening time.

The game is now available in both PC (Windows) and Android, please visite puffverse.pro to download the game.

After downloading the game, you need an account to access the game. In Beta version, each NFT has its own test account. But in the official version, your address is your account. So for now, in My Puff, you can click “Get Account” to get you Beta test account and log in to the game.

How to Play in PuffGo

During the opening period of Puff Football, you can just simply log into your account and join the game.

Players can use 1 Pass to play in the Football Slugfest for one time during the opening periods of Football mode. The Pass can only be deducted if the player successfully enters the game. No Pass will be deducted in the cases of a failed match, disconnection before the game, etc. Once the player is in the game successfully, deducted Pass will not be returned even if the player quits, disconnects accidentally, etc. Players will be unable to enter the game without a Pass.

Requirements for Matching

• A successful match requires 4 players to match simultaneously in the Football Mode. Successfully matched players will automatically enter the Football Slugfest to play.

• The system will automatically cancel the match if no matches are made within 10 minutes. Please try again later. If the match is successfully made within 10 minutes but some players failed to enter the game due to internet issues or disconnection so that there are not enough players to start the game, the waiting period will start.

• The waiting period will last for 1 minute to wait for the not-yet-entered players or bring in new players. The game will automatically start once all 4 players are in, or the 1-minute waiting period is over.

Pass

• Pass is a must to participate in the Football Slugfest in Football Mode. Each game costs 1 Pass.

• Accounts of Puff Genesis NFT will have 5 Passes daily, the Passes will be restored to 5 at 10 AM UTC every day.

• Accounts of Puff Football NFT will have 3 Passes daily and the Passes will be restored to 3 at 10 AM UTC every day.

• The additional Passes can only be acquired via the following ways:

  Passes will be restored to 5 or 3 at 10 AM UTC every day as above. If the amount of Passes the player has at this point is lower than the daily restored amount of the account, they will automatically be restored to the daily amount. If the amount of Passes the player has is greater than or equal to the daily amount, no change will be made.

  You can Cheer Up every day in My Puff to get 1 more Pass for this NFT.

  Starting from Dec 3rd, players can redeem 1 Pass in-game using 1 Puff Ticket.

Football Slugfest Game Flow

Gameplay

• Football Slugfest is a 2v2 game for players to compete with each other. Players will be divided into two teams of two to spare no effort to have their football kicking into the opposing team’s goal. There are two kinds of football: the normal ball and the golden ball. The normal-ball goal scores 1 point and the golden-ball goal scores 2 points. The golden ball will only appear in the last 60 seconds of the game.

• The game has two phases with the first phase being the formal game that lasts for 3 minutes. If two teams score the same, then the second phase of the Overtime will start with no time limit until one team scores a goal. The team with the highest score wins.

• Football Slugfest has 4 types of operation as below:

  1. Goal: Players kick the ball into the goal of the opposite team

  2. Assist: The last team member who touches the ball before the goal

  3. Save: To pass back the ball outside of a certain range of the goal

  4. Own goal: Players kick the ball into their own goal

• Football Slugest provides 2 special skills for players:

  1. Speed Up: Players can increase their running speed temporarily after use

  2. Clear ball: Players can kick the ball over great distances after use

Score Rank: The Goals you have scored within this week
Match Rank: # of Matches within this week
Winning Rank: # of Winning Matches within this week

The rank shows how well you play in the Football Mode of PuffGo Beta Football version. It’s time to show your skills! The top 50 in each rank can get certain points. There will be a snapshot at 12 PM (Noon) UTC every Friday for the purpose of Rank updates and point rewards announcements. The points can be used to redeem PUFF tokens later at the time of the initial launch.

To get the initial token distribution, you need to at least participate in PuffGo Beta & PuffTown V1 to share the initial token airdrop, which is equal to 2% of the token's total supply. Please wait for further announcements on tokenomic.

Win or Lose - Get Points for Initial Token Distribution

You can also get points from the Win or Lose activities.

For every Puff Genesis and Puff Football NFT you have, you will be granted ONE chance to guess the result for each game. You can choose either Win, Draw, or Lose before the game starts, and wait for the result. Each game will have certain points to be shared, and the users who choose the correct result will share the points. The ones with the highest points can share juicy rewards. The points can also be used to redeem PUFF tokens later at the time of the initial launch.

Daily Sign - Get Points for Initial Token Distribution

Daily Sign is an activity that lasts for 7 days starting from 10 AM, Nov 20 to 10 AM Nov 27 UTC.

You can sign once to get points daily, and you will be able to sign again at 10 AM UTC every day. Note that Daily Sign requires on-chain integrations to protect your rights and interests. If you fail to sign on a daily basis, the point rewards will be recalculated from Day 1.

• Only 200 addresses can get the Daily Sign Points

• After the event ends, we will calculate the top 200 holders with the most NFTs and deduct other's points that don't meet the requirement

• People with the same amount of NFTs will be ranked according to the sum of all NFT's Luck Value
