Why BNB Chain?

BNB Chain (Originally Binance Smart Chain - BSC) supports the most popular programming languages and flexible tools and comes with clear and canonical documentation. With its best EVM compatibility, minor adjustments will be made by the team with the original contracts and codes, and then you could enjoy the cheaper gas fee as well as a faster transaction speed. As you may know, a metaverse and Web 3 gaming project require high frequency in on-chain integration which creates a barrier if the gas fee is high and will reduce the potential user amount. The massive user base and strong ecosystem can provide Puffverse with a better environment to attract users from both Web 3 and Web 2.

Ethereum has always been a great place for NFTs to be launched and promoted, however, when it comes to chain integration, not many can suffer the cost of high-frequency interactions. Our original plan was to build our Genesis NFT first on Ethereum and search for the best chain to deploy our products. When we heard of the BNB Chain Builder Grant, we knew that it was the best choice for us. It brings blockchain’s best resources, training, and connections to startups and provides long-term growth support.

Puff ETH NFT vs Puff BNB NFT

We held events on Ethereum for users to Free Mint Puff Ticket and Draw Puff Genesis - these are the two collections we currently have. So what are we going to do with these NFTs? Will early holders be beneficial?

Certainly!

We value the early supporters the most and you all deserve the privileges. Under the circumstances that the address on Ethereum and BNB Chain can share the same seed/private key, the processes will be as follows:

1. The original 2,500 Puff Genesis NFT on Ethereum will be migrated and mirrored to the same address on BNB Chain. The token ID and metadata will be exactly the same. We will take the snapshot at 12 PM (noon) on Nov 8th UTC. If the Puff Genesis hasn’t been drawn out yet, we will use our marketing account to mint them and use them for future collaboration activities.

2. The minted Puff Ticket NFT on Ethereum will also be migrated and mirrored to the same address on BNB Chain. We will take the snapshot at 12 PM (noon) on Nov 8th UTC. Only the Tickets that were minted out before the snapshot will be migrated. Users can still mint the rest Puff Tickets (out of 15,000) on BNB Chain for future prop redemption, but can’t draw the Genesis anymore, because the total supply of Puff Genesis is set to 2,500.

3. The ETH Puff Genesis NFTs still have privileges! They can share the secondary market royalty fees as dividends periodically, be airdropped a portion of tokens after the token’s initial launch, participate in PuffDAO, etc. But CANNOT participate in PuffGo, PuffTown, PuffWorld, or PuffLand in the future. They don’t have utilities in the Puffverse products anymore.

4. The mirrored BNB Chain Puff Genesis NFT can enjoy all the products in Puffverse and earn through Play to Own, Skill to Earn, and Build to Earn.

5. Both ETH NFT and BNB Chain NFT can be used/transferred separately and can be relocated in different addresses after the migration. Eg. Address A holds Puff Genesis #1111 on Ethereum while Address B holds Puff Genesis #1111 on BNB Chain, A can share the benefits of Puff Genesis on ETH and B can use Puff Genesis on BNB Chain to participate in Puffverse products to earn more at the same time.

Overall, the Puff Genesis NFTs on both 2 chains are beneficial.

To be adaptive with BNB Chain, we adjust the product launch schedule a bit.

1. PuffGo Beta World Cup version will first be online on November 20 with several events.

2. PuffTown V1 (Simulation game) is postponed to December for a better experience on BNB Chain.

3. The official PuffGo and PuffTown App will be available in Q1 next year.
