  • The conference includes:

    • Curated speaker line up including some of the most well known and respected people in the space

    • Genesis ticket that acts as a membership pass that gets you into all events perpetually

    • A peer-to-peer rental pool where you can rent/delegate your ticket to a friend if you can’t make it

• Branigan worked with Natou to create an incredible Dune Dashboard that tracks a variety of aspects of the RugDAO

DAO & Governance🏛

• First monthly report for expenditures as well as what has been done so far will come on October 1st

• RugDAO Operational Council proposal is going live on snapshot soon. Be sure to claim your $RDAO tokens if you haven’t yet!

• Rug Radio Shop is going live soon which will start with merch but will be expanded to additional items in the future. This was funded from the web dev budget with a portion of the payment to the devs being made in $RUG.

  • Farokh and Loxley will be doing a fireside chat at Camp Decrypt in October in Napa Valley to talk about Rug Radio as a leading decentralized media company.

  • The event is being hosted by Decrypt which is a leading media company focusing on digital web3 culture

Jess is officially part of the Rug Radio team!!!🎉

• Jess has a Masters degree from NYU where she studied International Political Economy and has been working in the marketing space since 2006

• She will be introducing a community rewards program as well as helping produce and manage social media content.

• Set up RugDAO holders channels with a lot of people from the community sharing ideas for DAO proposals

• Set up a forum channel in the Discord to organize discussion for proposals and ideas as an alternative to Discourse

  • The contract was structured as an ERC-721M contract with is a proprietary contracted developed by Syndicate and therefore was not open to everyone yet

  • Excited for Ben who obtained his first sponsorship independent of Rug Radio

  • Twitter space downloading and syndication are live to all creators and working with Gldn to put everything together

  • New process for partnerships and sponsorships will be live on the website

  • Launching an open weekly creators call for everyone to learn about strategy and process

  • Onboarding creators from the traditional finance space who have a large audience next week

  • Highlight for Gldn was starting to get creators onboarded to a variety of different platforms and working with Patrick on creator relations

• Content Updates

  • Social rewards program blog and video with lots more coming soon with Jess joining the team as well as integrating new AI tools

Operational Updates from Harry

• Continuing to streamline things on the backend and learning how everyone works

• This past week

  • Working with Diego, our web developer, on a portal to allow authors and content producers to upload their content to the website in addition to reducing the cost of website development given the high cost of Webflow

  • Started working with Mike Kriak to keep track of DAO and operational funds

  • Streamlining communications with the team and testing out new tools

  • Team meetings and organizing all of the information and staff

  • Calendar overhaul and making sure everything is flowing efficiently

  • Excited about the events in Miami and London as well as continuing to build out the decentralized platform where all of the content that is produced is under the Rug Radio umbrella
