DAO

• The 7 people who were chosen to be a part of the DAO operational council have accepted the role and a proposal will be coming soon
  • This will be the 1st proposal, and after that, proposals will start being accepted and proposed such as:
    • Sponsoring Metaverse Miami
    • Community rewards model that brings utility to the $RUG token
    • Merch and allowlist store
  • Be sure to swap $RUG to $RDAO on the Syndicate claim site so that you can vote on the upcoming proposals
• Loxley
  • Discourse is live at rugdao.rug.fm
    • RDP* ideas, drafts, & final categories have all been created
      • Feel free to start discussions within the RDP ideas section for any proposal ideas
      • There will be a week’s time between now and when the operational council is live and proposals start passing
    • Will be hosting a webinar with Kristina and others to outline how to use Discourse for those who are unfamiliar
  • Tech & Merch
    • Currently working on sourcing and procurement for high quality merch
    • The allowlist store that we’ll use to partner with other projects is in progress

Creator & Content Updates from Patrick

• Creator Updates
  • New Creators lounge within Discord for centralizing announcements, updates, etc for those who hold a host pass
    • If you don’t have a host pass yet, DM or email Patrick
  • The Show Schedule has been posted! If you need any changes, create a host ticket in the Discord
  • New Google drive folder with resources for creators to such as guides, graphics, Audiogram templates, and promo templates
  • Lots of new applications for writers with more joining soon
• Tooling & Website
  • Twitter Download tool
    • Rolling out an update on Monday that will allow for editing without the need for additional software
  • Website
    • Web Dev, Diego, was able to connect our notion to the website to keep info and the show schedule more up-to-date
• Content
  • SEO enhancements and evergreen content list is currently being worked on
  • WenDAO & Token educational episodes are live on Youtube with tons more content coming soon
• Stats & KPI’s
  • Going to start creating infographics to show stats on a weekly basis
  • Putting together a media kit to provide for prospective partnerships and sponsorships to give them an idea about what we provide, KPI’s like impressions & viewers, and more

  • Lots of sales from notable people in the space like Deepak
  • #blamefarokh was trending on Twitter which brought a lot of attention to Rug Radio
  • Tons of excitement around Rug Radio as a whole with all of the recent guests that we’ve brought to the shows
• Discord
  • Discord was raided twice in the past week so we added two new security bots
    • One of the raids was actually a group of fake celebrities that brought tons of entertainment to the community
  • New Channels
    • Added creator channels solely for creators to connect and stay up-to-date
    • “Twitter Love” where anyone can post Rug Radio related tweets
  • Hosted our first Discord AMA with Farokh which the community loved and had the opportunity to bring up important topics
  • Hosted 2 giveaways in the past 2 weeks with more coming soon, but we will always prioritize quality over quantity
• Additional Updates
  • Finally recovered and updated the Linktree
  • Set up automated templates for accepting/rejecting collab applications to ensure everyone gets a response
• What’s Next?
  • Media Kit
    • Creating a media kit that will be on the website to download logos, etc using the Rug Radio brand
  • OpenSea Verification
    • We were able to link the Twitter account which allowed us to verify the profile, and now we’re working on verifying the collection
  • Learn 2 Earn program
    • Working on putting together education content around the ETH merge
  • Community Rewards
    • New feature that will give rewards to the community based on engagement

• Launching templates for audio grams with transcripts, graphics, etc that hosts will be able to use for promotional content
• Going to start rolling out syndication, tooling, and guides for creators

• When are we going to be able to make proposals?
  • Once the DAO operational council is approved, proposals will start being accepted
• When will we add the roadmap and whitepaper to the website?
  • We’re still working on the business development plan and that will be our version of a whitepaper
• When will merch be available?
  • Merch has already been designed and is currently going through quality control in addition to getting the online store set up
