• DAO Budget Proposal

  • 1134/2248 $RDAO vote for a turnout of 50.4% of eligible voters

  • Lots of questions around Project Basel with more news and information coming soon, but this will be fairly quiet until Art Basel in Miami

• Voting Framework Amendment

  • Mistakenly set the vote to be open for 6 hours instead of 18, but still managed a total vote of 554 $RDAO

  • Reason & results of the amendment

    • Found that the quorum of 60% was set to be too rigid and we wouldn’t have hit quorum without it

    • It was unanimously approved and, as a result, new quorum limits were set based on the amount of circulating $RDAO

      • 0-1500 $RDAO = 40%

      • 1500-3000 $RDAO = 45% (we’re here)

      • 3000-4500 $RDAO = 50%

      • 4500-6000 $RDAO = 55%

      • 6000+ $RDAO = 60%

    • Without passing the amendment, we would have had to go through the entire process to revote after the voting amendment was approved

  Due to the mistakes, anyone who swapped $RUG for $RDAO or voted on the budget proposal and/or amendment will get the POAP which is still pending approval from the POAP team.

Creator updates from Patrick

• Bildr Updates

  • Met with the Bildr team and went over everything that’s being built with the system with some final UI/UX stuff being worked on right now

  • Once UI/UX is finalized, we’ll start retroactively adding shows and content from GM NFTs to test the platform

    • Once that’s started, we’ll start bringing creators onto the platform

• Creator Updates

  • Working on putting together a system that allows creators to fill out a form and automatically generate marketing and promotional graphics instead of needing to do it manually

  • Working with gldncrypt0 on putting together audiogram versions of those forms as well so we can make those available to creators

  • Show Schedule is complete and now working on daily show graphics

  • NFT Yearbook project where we’re securing a spot for Rug Radio hosts to be featured

• Tooling

  • Launched updated Twitter Download tool that adds a pre-recorded sponser audio before being syndicated

  • Met with a Toronto based company called Placeit that uses AI to create video based content from audio such as a Twitter Spaces and sent audio from GM NFTs to test

• Video Content

  • Meeting with creators for Tik Tok and Youtube shorts content

  • An official sponsorship agreement is being finalized this week

  • Media Kit for content and show stats will also be done very soon

Operational Updates from Harry

• Harry is helping Amie with the operational side of things

• Currently working on…

  • Streamlining processes using no code tools

  • Implementing an automated workaround for the website via API’s and code to create token gated spaces for creators to upload content to the website

  • Reaching out to suppliers and searching for high quality merch

  • Working with Ryguy to create a community newsletter with the first draft already being worked on

  • Created alias for email addresses to ensure emails don’t get lost due to typos

• Excited for Project Basel, the amazing guests on GM NFTs show, and being able to work with such an amazing team

Content Updates

• GM NFTs brought in 40 ETH of sponsorships in August where 15% has gone back to the DAO, 85% has gone back to floor buybacks

  • Snapshot is currently the best platform available for voting right now

• Is it possible for Rug Radio members to get allowlists for y00ts?

  • Unfortunately not as it’s all an application process

• Creator Questions for Farokh

  • Can Farokh make an appearance in the shows at least once a month?

    • While it does typically conflict with his schedule, he will try his best to make it happen

  • What is the best way to get quality quests on the shows?

    • Don’t be scared to reach out and ask people

    • Spend some time building out and organizing your show

• More info about the utility of the NFTs and tokens and their utility is currently being thought about, and the community can also submit proposals

• Currently, the primary focus is on the business side with building out the company, brand, and media.
