NFT.NYC Updates

• John scored the venue and Rug Radio will be hosting a 3 day event at the SuperChief Gallery NY from June 20th - 22nd from 10am - 7pm (More details coming soon)!
  • June 20th: Open invite to everyone that will host panels and beautiful art from some of our favorite photographers including Cath Simard and Drift
  • June 21st & 22nd: Rug Radio holders only event with artwork from incredible artists, panels from our favorite speakers, and cocktails with the fam
  • If you’re an artist and Rug Radio holder, look out for a form to sign up to have your art displayed at the event
• About Superchief Gallery NY
  • Gallery for nearly 10 years starting in Brooklyn and expanding to LA and Miami
  • Started displaying digital art in 2016
  • In 2021, they opened up the world’s first brick and mortar NFT gallery
    • Beat Shanghai by 1 day with their opening in Manhattan
    • Just celebrated 1 year as an NFT gallery; Celebrating 10 years as a gallery in June
  • The goal was to elevate and support artists that they love and legitimize digital artists by introducing them to traditional artists and collectors
  • When Christies did the first CryptoPunk auction, they hosted it at the Superchief Gallery
    • Also hosted the first IRL events for OpenSea, Foundation w/ Diana Sinclair, Object, Makersplace

Sneak Peak #1!

• Schedule page focused on discovery that is reading data from the database
• There will be a dashboard page where you can follow hosts and shows
• The goal is centralize the content across all platforms and bring it into this platform
• Started working on a token gated system where there’s granular control/view depending on the type of pass that is held
• Next Steps
  • Mark and Drew will be at NFT NYC
  • The Bildr team will be dropping screenshots and videos in the bildr channel in Discord on a regular basis, start testing the platform with hosts and members, and take feedback to make improvements
