the course of life

If goals are used to optimize the course of life, we can imagine all planning as a pyramid. The pyramid of life goals is made up of 5 levels. The top layer is the core. This layer holds the overall purpose of life. Going down in turn, each layer is a small goal to achieve one by one to achieve the big goal of the previous layer.

Top layer: the overall goal of life. This contains the second to fifth major goals to be achieved in one's life. If you can achieve or approach them, it means that you have done your best to achieve your life goals.

The second layer: long-term goals. This is a phased goal made to achieve the overall goal of life. Generally speaking, these are the things you plan to do in 10 years. While we can plan for more than 10 years, it is not wise to allocate time this way. The more distant the goal, the more vague, the less specific, and the more variable it is over time. Setting appropriate long-term goals is essential, because without long-term goals, the performer will often experience short-term feelings of failure.

The third layer: medium-term goals. This is a relatively specific goal that can be seen in order to achieve a long-term goal. Generally speaking, these are things that are planned to be done within 5 to 10 years.

The fourth layer: short-term goals. These goals are specified to achieve the medium-term goals. The time to achieve short-term goals is generally 1 to 5 years.

Bottom layer: daily planning. This is what you set out to achieve short-term goals, usually on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis.

The top of the tower is the ultimate goal of life, and every plan and everything done from it is directed to the ultimate goal of the individual.
