We have successfully concluded the Original Mint (OG Mint) of the The Infinite Machine Movie & NFT collection. 2100 NFTs were bought by the community at a fixed ETH0.08 price, for a total of ETH168. It sold out in some 28 hours, the 24 first hours allocated to whitelisted mints and the remaining stock sold in 4 hours. Including team, marketing & artist mints some 218 have been minted beyond the sale for a total minted NFT figure of 2318.
We consider this a success and would like to thank the community and team for a smooth launch and support.
At the time of writing the collection has traded some ETH44 in 3 days, and presents a healthy floor at ETH0.12, with price record sales at an ETH2 cap.
In spite of not having revealed the rarity traits yet (still too soon), we still have two more sales to go, we hereby provide a breakdown of allocated traits for minted pieces after this first batch.
1.- META RARITY
We define meta rarity as rarity that derives from meta traits and their scarcity. This is, all traits that aren’t related to artists and their artwork.
Movie Meta Traits

2.- ARTIST RARITY
We define Artist Rarity as rarity derived from artists and their artwork, thus excluding any meta traits (traits related to the movie or the white meta frame).
At the time of writing 6 artist Originals have been minted. There are thus some 30 additional ones to be minted still. In other words, only 16% of all produced originals have been minted.

Intra-artist is defined as a piece which is the result of re-combining “tiles” from just one artist. At the time of writing, 84 of these intra-artist pieces have been minted, or 21% of the total 400 intra-artist total pieces to be minted. We must remark that there are only 35 artists with minted intra-artist pieces, thus one additional artist still having to surface on this front. Thoughts on the present situation
The OG sale (Original Sale) or batch 1 sale has been a total success, presenting a coherent statistical dispersion on all rarity fronts and an even distribution amongst artists.
Regarding ownership distribution, there are 825 wallets for some 2300 NFTs, or 2.78 NFTs per wallet. We consider this ownership structure to be a solid one, where the closer that ratio to 1 the more robust the collection price action should be. This is because the lower that ratio the lower the capacity of any one holder to sway the market by dumping a large number of items for sale hence increasing sale pressure in the market, or what is the same, the broader the collection ownership distribution the larger the positive impact on stability.

The present ownership structure compares “handsomely” with top all time performers in the NFT space, only outperformed by MAYC, BAYC and Cryptoadz.
The conclusion to extract from the above is that the whitelisting system has worked as intended and has provided a solid foundation upon which to further explore enhanced ownership structure dispersion.
What to expect next
We keep working on preparing the two upcoming sales (first one to take place during January) and analysing results from the Original Mint in order to optimise according to fairness and the Ethos of Decentralisation.
Rarity traits shall not be revealed before the collection has been totally minted, which we believe is a healthy way of providing art related interest before Movie Rarity Traits kick in and fosters “art-related-discovery” for increased artist exposure.
Wrapping it up
OG mint has been successful, statistical dispersion on all rarity fronts is coherent and market action prices the floor well above the mint price, which ties in with a favourable ownership structure, especially in light of its comparison with historical top performers.
