Integrity Nodes [Public Sale]
May 28th, 2025

Tomorrow, on May 29th at 12PM UTC, the Integrity Node Public Sale goes live.

This blog post covers everything you need to know about the Integrity Nodes — how they work, what role they play in Hybrid’s modular AI agent ecosystem, and how you can get involved.

Recap: What Are Integrity Nodes?

Integrity Nodes are a critical part of Hybrid’s infrastructure — not for block validation, but for verifying and improving AI agents. These nodes ensure that the behavior of agents, especially those tied to AI Agent Funds (like on-chain trading vaults), remains transparent, performant, and safe.

What Integrity Nodes Do:

  • Score agent outputs to measure quality and reliability.

  • Monitor vaults for anomalies or unhealthy behavior.

  • Log model performance, capturing how agents learn and adapt over time.

  • Verify agent actions, ensuring every interaction meets standards of accuracy and integrity.

Think of them as the verification and coordination layer for everything that runs autonomously on-chain.

Rewards & Incentives

Node operators earn through:

  • $HYB emissions

  • Compute job rewards (e.g., scoring prompts, monitoring funds)

  • cHYB fees used in Hybrid tools (e.g., Atlas, Agent Builder)

Note: There is one node type, and no tiered benefits — the only differentiator is the price paid at time of purchase (private = lowest, public = market rate).

The Role in AI Agent Funds

Hybrid’s ecosystem is evolving to support Agent-native vaults — where community-created agents power on-chain trading strategies. These vaults need:

  • Transparent agent behavior,

  • Continuous evaluation,

  • And trustless monitoring.

Integrity Nodes are the infrastructure layer that enables this.

They run scoring jobs, monitor vault health, and evaluate model output quality — ensuring that both Hybrid-built and community-built agents operate within safe parameters.

How It Works (Technically)

  • Jobs (scoring, verification, monitoring) are delegated either on-chain (via smart contracts) or via signed requests.

  • Nodes verify and log the results, returning them for public review or use by Hybrid infrastructure.

  • Rewards are paid in $HYB and potentially ETH/stables — depending on the type of job.

How to Run a Node

You can:

  1. Run your own (1+ core CPU, 2GB RAM, 10Mbps+ internet)

  2. Use Hybrid’s (upcoming) in-house NaaS (Node-as-a-Service) platform delegating licenses to a node.

  3. Use a Node-as-a-Service provider like NodeOps: https://nodeops.network/

Node licenses are flexible — multiple licenses can be delegated to the same VPS or hosted machine, allowing for reward scaling.

FAQ

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. What are Integrity Nodes?

Integrity Nodes are a core part of Hybrid’s AI agent infrastructure. Unlike traditional blockchain validators, they do not secure a chain. Instead, they perform critical compute and verification tasks such as:

  • Scoring and auditing AI agent outputs

  • Monitoring vault behavior and anomalies

  • Logging model performance

  • Verifying the accuracy and reliability of AI-driven decisions. These nodes ensure AI agents — especially those running automated trading, DeFi interactions, or governance functions — behave safely and transparently.

2. How many node licenses are available pre-TGE?

A maximum of 5,000 node licenses will be distributed before the token generation event (TGE). These represent the only way to get access to Integrity Nodes ahead of mainnet.

3. Who received pre-sold licenses?

Most pre-sold licenses were allocated to key infrastructure partners, validators, and compute providers to ensure network readiness and operational performance at launch.

4. How is the total token allocation for nodes determined?

The total $HYB allocation for node rewards is fixed. Each node’s share is based on the total number of active licenses. The fewer nodes there are, the higher the per-node rewards.

5. What is the purpose of the public sale?

The public sale offers remaining node licenses (from the total 5,000) to the community and is the last chance to obtain a node license pre-TGE.

6. When is the public sale?

The public sale begins on May 29, 2025 at 12PM UTC, hosted on Hybrid’s node sale platform (link available at start sale).

7. Is this the final opportunity to buy Integrity Nodes?

Yes, this is the only opportunity to get nodes ahead of TGE. Any future node sales (if any) will happen under different conditions and with updated economics.

8. How are node licenses delivered?

Node licenses are issued as NFTs on Arbitrum and sent directly to the wallet used during the sale. These NFTs can be held, transferred, or traded (after 6 months).

9. Are there wallet limits in the public sale?

Yes, limits may be set per wallet to prevent hoarding. Details will be published on the sale page.

TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL

10. What do I need to run a node?

Minimum specs for self-hosting: 1+ core CPU 2GB RAM 10 Mbps+ internet connection Consistent uptime

11. Can I use a NaaS provider?

Yes. You can opt to run your node through Hybrid’s upcoming delegation platform or utilize a Node-as-a-Service (NaaS) partner like NodeOps, which simplifies setup and guarantees uptime.

12. How much does it cost to use a NaaS provider?

NaaS services generally charge between $5–10 per month per node. Check specific NaaS providers for exact pricing.

13. Can I switch between self-hosting and NaaS?

Yes, node license owners can switch between running nodes themselves and using a NaaS provider at any time, though some setup will be required during the transition.

14. Can I run multiple nodes on one machine?

Yes, as long as your hardware meets the requirements, you can scale your specs and run multiple nodes on a single setup. Real max is 50 licenses per node.

15. Are there uptime requirements?

Yes. Rewards are only distributed to nodes that remain active and online. Downtime reduces earnings.

REWARDS AND ECONOMICS

16. How do Integrity Nodes earn rewards?

Node operators earn in three main ways:

  • A share of the $HYB token supply allocated for nodes

  • A portion of Hybrid protocol gas fees

A share of revenue from Hybrid SDK/API usage and agent interactionsOver time, nodes will also benefit from activity generated by Agent Trading Funds, AI Vaults, and other applications in the Hybrid ecosystem.

17. When do rewards start?

Rewards will begin after the mainnet goes live and nodes are activated.

18. What is the vesting schedule for node rewards?

Node rewards are subject to the vesting schedule defined in the broader $HYB tokenomics. Details will be shared during TGE documentation.

19. Are node licenses transferable?

Yes. Licenses are issued as NFTs on Arbitrum and are fully transferable. They can be sold or traded on secondary markets (they are non-transferrable during the first 6 months).

20. Is there a difference between private and public node licenses?

No. All node licenses function identically. The only difference was in acquisition timing and pricing. Early buyers may have had discounted prices.

21. How long can nodes earn rewards?

There is no fixed end date. As long as your node is running and contributing compute/verification work, it will earn rewards.

22. Can I sell my node license after buying it?

Yes. Node licenses are NFTs and can be freely sold or transferred.

AI AGENT INFRASTRUCTURE

23. What role do Integrity Nodes play in AI Agent Funds?

Integrity Nodes verify the behavior and performance of on-chain AI agents running funds and vaults. They help monitor:

  • Trading activity for anomalies

  • Agent decision logs and outputs

Vault performance over timeThis is especially critical for Hybrid’s upcoming decentralized Agent Fund infrastructure.

24. Do nodes train the models themselves?

Not directly. However, node compute and logs are used to help improve agents over time — for instance, by scoring performance, spotting failure cases, and contributing to training feedback loops.

25. What are Agent Trading Funds?

Agent Trading Funds are on-chain funds managed by AI agents. Integrity Nodes support these funds by verifying agent behavior and performance, adding trust and transparency to their actions.

DEPLOYMENT AND TIMELINE

26. When can I activate my node?

Nodes will become active post-TGE when Hybrid mainnet infrastructure is live. NodeOps will provide hosting instructions and dashboard access for activation.

27. Will I be notified when to activate my node?

Yes. Announcements will be made via Hybrid’s X (Twitter) account, Telegram channel, and the official email list. NodeOps will also provide updates.

28. What if I don’t activate my node immediately?

You can activate it at any time, but rewards only accrue when the node is online and active.
