According to sources, Apple has poached senior Ford female executives responsible for vehicle engineering and safety

According to sources, foreign media reported that Apple had poached desi ujkashevic from Ford, but there were also reports that she had retired from Ford. However, on Ford’s official website, it showed that she was still the global director of Ford’s global automotive safety engineering office.

Foreign media also mentioned in the report that in LinkedIn, desi ujkashevic worked in Ford only until March this year, and there was no follow-up company.

According to foreign media reports, desi ujkashevic joined Ford as an engineer in 1991. During her 31 years at Ford, she has experienced many positions. She has successively served as the engineering director in charge of body system and design operation, the global director of Interior Engineering and the engineering director in charge of North American vehicle projects. She has also been assigned to Germany for three years and assisted in the research and development of Ford’s electric vehicles.

Ford also said on its official website that desi ujkashevic has rich leadership experience in the global automotive field, and her work covers products, quality, operation and other fields.

Desi ujkashevic graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, and then obtained a master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
