You Can Now Buy Shares in Songs by Taylor Swift, Beyonce & Adele
The JKBX platform recently launched with over $1.7B in royalties, including songs from Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Adele. JKBX allows fans to invest in artists' tracks through royalties. Artists sell parts of their songs to JKBX, which obtains SEC approval for these deals. Investors receive income as songs earn royalties. The catalog includes hits from numerous artists such as U2, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder and other famous artists.
Unheard Before Joy Division’s Ian Curtis Audio in a NFT?
Joy Division’s drummer Stephen Morris and "Unknown Pleasures" artist Peter Saville, in collaboration with Pace Gallery, have unveiled an unexpected NFT audiovisual project that will include previously unheard vocal samples. This NFT series (“CP1919”) consists of two NFT drops, featuring a soundtrack created by Morris as well as archival vocal samples from late Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis. “CP1919” will include animated 3D artwork produced by Saville, a multidisciplinary artist who worked between 1979 and 1993 on projects for both Joy Division and the band New Order.

Satwik is a 23-year-old singer, songwriter, artist, producer, and engineer from Indore, India. Satwik entered the NFT space in January of 2022. He is the founder of Digital On-chain Records, a label focused on educating artists about Web3 and also the founder of h00ks, a creative beat/hooks store built on Web3.
His first Music NFT was an EP with 8 songs called "never mine, nvm", made in collaboration with various artists from all over the world, through Astrals label. “never mine, nvm” was the first pay-what-you-can mint on the XRP chain and the biggest Music NFT drop at that time. He followed that with “Won’t Give Up” on XRP, then on ETH using Sound.xyz, which is still available to mint here.
