“Crazy” coach car

Xinkuai Bao reporter Yang Xiyin correspondent Guangdong traffic police reported that a man in Guangdong was driving a coach car after drinking because of a quarrel with his wife. When he was checked, he was still holding a baby in his arms and was drunk driving for the second time. On the evening of April 10, Yangjiang traffic police intercepted the “Crazy” coach car. The case is being further handled.

At about 9 pm that day, the Heshan squadron of Yangdong traffic police brigade received an instruction from the 110 command center, saying that a woman Chen reported that her husband was driving a coach car on the road after drinking and had to intercept it quickly.

The police on duty immediately contacted the informant Chen, immediately drove the police car to search for the vehicle, found the coach car at 10:15 PM, and successfully stopped the car at the intersection of Vientiane Industrial Park. At that time, the driver was driving with one hand and holding a baby several months old. There was a strong smell of wine in the car.

After investigation, the driver is Chen’s husband Wei. The breath alcohol tester shows that his alcohol content is 127mg / 100mL, which is suspected of drunk driving. In addition, Wei’s C1 driver’s license was revoked as early as may 2019 for drunk driving a motorcycle, and now he is driving without a license.

According to Mr. Wei, at about 7 o’clock that night, he drank wine at a restaurant on Heguang road with friends, and quarreled with his wife over family problems. After dinner, the couple returned to the driving training center store operated by Chen and continued to quarrel. In a rage, Wei picked up his 4-month-old second son, drove a coach car and prepared to drive back to his home in the urban area.

Guangdong traffic police said that local traffic police will continue to carry out the special investigation and punishment of drunk driving, calling on the majority of drivers to remember “don’t drink when driving, don’t drink when driving”, let alone break the law and risk their own and their family’s lives.
