When we post as Mundo Lingo using the logo, we are the official voice of the brand. Here’s how we do it👇
Speak English (See below).
Check grandma grammar and spelling.
Icons are cool ➡️✏️🇵🇭📣👋🗣
..but avoid faces 😁😘😉🤑 ;)
Up to one exclamation / question mark per post… Okay?!?!
Capital letters are TACKY
Never in 1st person. I don’t do that.
Talk to our fans 1-to-1. Who agrees? Do you agree?
Keep it short and snappy. 100 characters is plenty.
Get to the point, don’t “Hiya everyone” or “Hi lingos..”
Responds questions and comments even if they’re negative.
Avoid clichés, they’re 🤮
“Let’s …”; “..have fun”, “..a nice time”, “..so cool”
“Don’t forget to …”
“Don’t miss this…”
“Remember to…”
Don’t talk about money and prices. Mundo Lingo is free, what else matters?
Less text is always better. Keep it as short as possible. If you do write a long text, be Concise! Use the Hemingway Test

Mundo Lingo speaks in English regardless of political or regional issues at play, or who happens to demand a local language translation. Mundo Lingo is an international organisation with one official language for communication with our public.
Erm, no.
In discourse. In conversations on social media Mundo Lingo can respond to others in comments using their language. Only announcements, statements, descriptions, set texts or releases of information must stay in English.
No really. +90% of your target audience understand written English.+90% of people who don’t understand English probably won’t be going to Mundo Lingo for the right reasons.
The potential troubles caused by disregarding this rule mean that it’s considered a strike for the offending team. Because: If Mundo Lingo talks in a 2nd language in one place, our silence in not speaking a 2nd language in another region becomes offensive.
It may seem that reaching local Chinese speakers in their language is kind, but the Quebecois French in Montreal or the Catalan speakers in Barcelona may not interpret that as kindness when they feel excluded after seeing your translation.
Ironically, we need your help keeping Mundo Lingo ango-centric and mono-lingual. If you see Mundo Lingo speaking a 2nd language, please delete, or screenshot and send to community leads so we can deal with it. Your help with this issue is greatly appreciated.
