As part of our drive to decentralise Email is now optional. However, official communications with venues or associates must be via an @mundolingo.org Email. Here’s how to do it.
Personally addressed Emails (“Dear James…”) stay in the inbox until responded. Once responded it’s saved to a sub-folder (not deleted).
Non-personal Emails (“Hi”, “Dear sir/madam”) can be deleted.
Nothing says “unprofessional” like not responding an Email until a week later. Keep your inbox clear so you can engage new emails quickly.
Let the Tech Lead know, we may be able to improve your spam filter.
Each inbox quota is 150mb. If you reach your quota, try this:
Find Emails with attachments such as images, files or videos and delete them.
If you have many Emails over 3 years old, you could delete these.
Deleted emails go to your Trash Bin and this counts towards your quota; empty your trash bin.
You need an email client such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird (Free). Here we show a setup in Outlook but the steps are similar whichever program you use.
If you run into problems, there are more guides available from our service provider.
