We visited your venue because we identified it as an excellent candidate for Mundo Lingo, meeting a sctrict list of criteria and offering a great well-run space with charm and character.

🤝 We offer

Regular weekly events, not 1, 10 or 100 times, but (if you’re ready for us).. forever. Mundo Lingo is fiercly loyal, we don’t fool around, with most relationships lasting 3 to 12 years 💘

We bring you a new public and reliable mid-week crowd ~150 to 400 additional weekly customers within 6 months. We operate Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, whichever is best for you.

We know you appreciate feeling supported in your financial goals, and while profit is not our first priority, we understand it’s yours. We offer a relationship that is perceptive and cooperative with your needs.

👌Vibe Check

Language event? A bunch of students? → No. We receive guests of ALL ages, origins, and socio-economic backgrounds. It feels like this 👇

We keep a casual, non-invasive feel to the event, we don’t collect emails, hang up banners, charge entrance fees or subject participants to third party publicity. No games, microphones, crowd participation etc, just chilled feels and good conversation compatible with your regular evening public. We blend into your bar, that’s what we think makes our events so popular.

🌎 A Global Network

After launching in Buenos Aires in 2011 we grew to some 18k monthly participants worldwide in over 25 countries. Much of our public visit us in various cities, using our events as a landing pad for each destination.

→ Post-2020 this number dropped, we’re catching up quickly, relaunching in cities old and new.

💡 A Simple Idea

We invite locals and expats to the warm welcoming atmoshpere of your bar each week to meet new people in the city. As they arrive they’re greeted by our team who are stationed at a table where they organise and distribute flags.

These small flag stickers are placed on the chest from top to bottom according to fluency. Stand to signal you want to meet new people, sit to be left alone.

Target Audience

We aim for locals and international residents + a some tourists. We emphasise our marketing to a mature audience, we are not comparable with typical language clubs nor crazy parties. We receive people of all ages but mostly 25 to 50 year olds including students, professionals and travelers.

Marketing

Long term strategies focus on promoting in Universities, Hostels, Study abroad programs and language schools. We set up relationships with these institutes and keep in close contact. Our online strategy centers on Telegram, Facebook, Instagram and Meetup. We also have a soft presence on Linkedin, Tiktok and Twitter.

Finances

Venues return 20% of the gross registered by Mundo Lingo’s guests.

These are recorded and accurately reported at the end of each event. The 20% is fixed for all venues worldwide without exception and will never decrease nor increase.

Requirements

• Exclusive space uninterrupted by parallel events.

• Same time/day of every week, year-round, uninterrupted.

• Regulated music volume, high enough for fun, low enough not to shout.

• Music of international style avoiding heavy rock, metal, house, K Pop etc.

• Full cooperation with our Manager to ensure the venue is fully prepared each week, usually entailing removal of chairs to make space for standing participants.

• Beverages served cold in glassware

• Public entry unhindered by fees, data collection or dresscodes.

• Sales report printed same night on paper baring the venue’s logo.

• Payment made cash on the night of via bank transfer within 5 days .
